Serbian Jerusalem, a Ticket to Butt Clubs

Road to EU membership

Reich’s Rotten Carrot

A comment by a mystery person named Judy Butt of yet another Nobodaddy “institute” no one in the world except for two of its members/founders/presidents has ever heard of, is given a prominent place in the Serbian Soros Club — B92 DisInformation Center.

Because Judy Who?! -- Judy Butt, of course! -- threatens Serbia with postponing its entry into the Fourth Reich (amicably called the European Union) if it continues insisting on keeping 15 percent of its territory within its borders.

As if joining the New Fascist Club is a major prize and more important then having a country with which you could join in the first place. Perhaps Ms. Butt would realize the futility of waiving that carrot in front of Serbian noses if someone would be kind enough to tell her that majority of ordinary Serbs are not so keen to plunge into the alliance overwhelmingly dominated by Germany, the “union” which fights tooth-and-nail to include Asian Muslim Turkey into Europe, while leaving Russia out, and which, by all its actions and deeds, is looking more and more like Hitler's dream come true.

If they can take Soros' Belgrade outpost B92, along with his NGOs and their president Boris Tadic into the Fourth Reich, and leave the rest of Serbia to its citizens, most Serbs who are proud of their history and for having fought against freak empires such as the Third Reich and the Ottoman Empire, would be quite grateful. Learning to make distinctions between people and the ruling elite imposed upon the people (for the time being), should be among the basic requirements for various Nobodaddys who, for some reason, feel invited to lecture on Balkan politics.

Martti Ahtisaari Lost Legitimacy

Much more interesting then Madame Butt's irrelevant personal opinion is the following news:

Serbian negotiating team advisor, Swiss federalism and multi-ethnic states expert Thomas Fleiner, believes Martti Ahtisaari has lost his legitimacy as a credible mediator. In an interview with the Vienna-based Die Presse, Fleiner recounted the conversation Ahtisaari had with the Serbian team members last month. “Ahtisaari pointed at all of us and said: ‘You are not guilty personally, but Serbs are guilty as a nation’.” Fleiner added that such a statement would in Switzerland be prosecuted under the Racism law.

Reality Check: American Council for Kosovo

Meanwhile, the American Council for Kosovo gives a scoop of the events that have marked the preceding week in the Balkans, showing that the “push for Kosovo independence has reached a new low in credibility:”

This week may have marked a new low in the vanishing credibility of the misguided effort to forcibly and illegally detach the province of Kosovo and Metohija from democratic Serbia. Among the key events and revelations:

  1. A terrorist bomb attack on Saturday August 26 in Mitrovica, the largest Christian Serbian enclave left in Kosovo, left nine people injured, including a British policeman serving with the international administration and a pregnant woman from the Netherlands. KLA leader Hashim “Snake” Thaci later met with a top U.S. diplomat in Pristina and minimized the significance of the attack, which is just the latest illustration of the terrorism and criminality rampant in the province.
  2. UNICEF reports that child trafficking is on the rise in southeast Europe, particularly in Kosovo, while “Serbia is a good example how to prevent child trafficking, because they are eliminating causes which make the children vulnerable,” according to UNICEF regional director for southeast Europe, Maria Kalavis. UNICEF's regional director for South-Eastern Europe noted that the “traffickers themselves are very well organized, very flexible and very ruthless” -- and, it should be added, in Kosovo include leading figures in Muslim Albanian administration: Agim Ceku, Hashim Thaci, and Ramush Haradinaj.
  3. The uproar in Serbia continues regarding the biased, even racist, comment by UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Kosovo Marti Ahtisaari, to the effect that “the Serbs are guilty as a people” for the problems of Kosovo. The comment has provoked wide condemnation from all sectors of Serbian society, including the government and the Church, for assignment of ethnic collective blame. Mr. Ahtisaari's spokesman has sought to explain that the remark has been “taken out of context.” So what would be the context -- except that Mr. Ahtisaari let slip his real agenda as a mediator in supposed negotiations over Kosovo's future?
  4. The German newspaper Berliner Zeitung on August 7 revealed more details about last year's analysis by the German intelligence service BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst) regarding the criminal activities of Kosovo's Muslim Albanian leadership. Among other revelations: that Ceku, Thaci, and Haradinaj meet regularly with other crimelords at Pristina's Grand Hotel to manage their joint criminal operations.

Taken together, these items leave the already threadbare pro-independence justifications in tatters. The U.N. mediator stands revealed as an advocate for conferring state status on a gang of criminals and terrorists posing as leaders of a responsible civil administration. Meanwhile, the same “leaders” -- major figures in the supposedly disbanded “Kosovo Liberation Army” -- continue management of their criminal enterprises, which include the trafficking of children for sexual exploitation. To the extent feasible, ongoing terrorist attacks simply are ignored or explained away.

The now-complete lack of credibility of the pro-independence agenda is attracting ever greater attention. In the short term, this will likely mean a renewed push for getting a predetermined “final status” through as soon as possible, to forestall further examination of what really is going on in Kosovo. That push will stall, however, as Serbia's democratic government continues to reject the illegal and immoral demand that Belgrade accede to the creation of an Islamic rogue state in Kosovo and the eradication of the remaining Christian Serbs. Meanwhile, as more people in the relevant countries, principally the United States, begin to catch on to what is happening in Kosovo, the supposedly “inevitable” result is looking less and less likely.

“NO” to Kosovo Independence!

The letter titled Keep Kosovo in Serbia published today by Washington Times gives some of the background to the grim circumstances in which southern Serbian province finds itself today and explains why every effort should be made to preserve the Serbian Jerusalem within Serbia:

[...] Former Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito's denial of the right of return of 200,000 Serbians who were cleansed by Albanian fascists during World War II, his encouragement of illegal migration into the province after the war and the granting of local autonomy to the province in 1974 were all in the interest of weakening and reducing Serbia.

These actions fomented an Albanian drive to ethnically “purify” Kosovo of Serbs and their 1,300-year-old cultural presence in the Serbian province for the past 60 years. Granting independence to Kosovo would be an acquiescence to the principle that terrorists can successfully alter the borders of sovereign nations and that national borders mean nothing -- a dangerous precedent for our own nation, which also is battling illegal immigration.

Today's Kosovo is a terrorist haven and black hole of Europe where thriving sex-slave and drug-running trades give plenty of financial support to terrorist training camps for Osama bin Laden's followers within the province. We even have lost our own soldiers in Kosovo because of these fanatics, but our mainstream media has yet to report this.

Our nation's struggle against this sort of barbaric Islamofascist terrorism is completely in contrast to some of our politicians' misguided support for Kosovo's independence. It is high time for President Bush to write a new page in Balkan history by recognizing that Serbia is one of the few truly democratic nations in the Balkans and that it is trying to put the past behind it as it looks toward a more Western-leaning future.

Serbs make up one of the largest ethnic groups in the Balkans, and thus Serbia would be an anchor of stability amidst a Pandora's box of ethnic rivalries there. Serbia also was one of America's staunchest allies in World War I and World War II. Let's stop making Serbia former President Bill Clinton's personal punching bag and endeavor to rewrite the tremendous wrongs that were done in the Balkans. For the sake of global stability and respect for national sovereignty and respect for international laws, Kosovo must stay within Serbia.
