True Courage: Wafa Sultan

A secular Arab-American psychiatrist from Syria residing in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Wafa Sultan became a worldwide sensation after her fiery debates about Islam on Al-Jazeera.
This immensely brave woman chose to disregard numerous death threats in order to help free her people from being hostage to fourteen centuries of poisonous teachings and beliefs that are isolating them further and leading to perpetual cycles of hatred-filled, vengeful bloodshed.
Dr. Sultan considers 1979 the most important year of her life and a turning point, when she started questioning the belief system of the Muslim society she was raised in. At the time, she was a medical student in Syria and has witnessed the gruesome crimes of the Muslim Brotherhood, including the murder of her professor whose body was riddled with hundreds of bullets in the university classroom filled with students -- a mindless and senseless murder accompanied by the screaming praises to Allah.
Her debates with jihadists on Al-Jazeera have earned Dr. Sultan exceptional admiration and popularity in the desert of paper heroes and politically correct obfuscators beating the same dead horse for over a decade: Wafa the Lion Heart speaks with unmatched clarity, courage and candor about the subject generally considered a taboo throughout the world. She goes for the guttural without wincing and fights the distortions and fatal defects of Islamic teachings with solid facts, truth and bulletproof logic.
A warrior par exelance and a true humanitarian, Wafa Sultan is quickly becoming a hero to many, including the Muslim women in the Arab world, some of whom, according to Dr. Sultan, are her greatest supporters. Believing she has undertaken “a journey of a thousand miles” of which she has only walked the first and hardest ten thus far, Dr. Sultan has opened the doors most non-Muslims are helping keep shut with their whitewashing, feigned sympathies and fake compassion.
Unlike the wannabe “humanitarians” who are feeding the monster with the misplaced “understanding” reserved for retards while getting drunk on their perceived magnanimity, Dr. Sultan is actually helping free the Muslims with bitter medicine: the unvarnished truth. Bravo, Wafa!
