Young Serbian Woman Stabbed in Kosovo Province
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, Serbia, Feb. 3, 2007 — Twenty seven year old Milica Delevic was repeatedly stabbed last evening in the town of Kosovska Mitrovica, in the southern Serbian province. She remains hospitalized and under intensive care after undergoing surgery.
Regional spokesperson for the UNMIK police, Larry Miller, has confirmed a young woman of Serbian nationality was attacked with the knife and seriously wounded.
Milica Delevic was ambushed by the group of Albanian Muslims around 7p.m, in the dark part of the street near the Red Cross building where she worked and repeatedly stabbed in the abdominal region.
Milica’s attackers have not been found.
Attack on Serbian School
LIPLJAN, Serbian Kosovo Province, Feb. 2, 2007 — Serbian elementary school in Lipljan has been stoned by the group of ten young Albanian Muslims around 5p.m today. They broke windows and damaged the school’s walls before the police showed up, after which they scattered.
Braca Aksic school in Lipljan is attended by the Serbian children from first to eighth grade.
No arrests have been made following the school attack either.
