Serbia Cleared, Part 3

Croatia's Pro-Ustasha war leader Franjo Tudjman

...And Look Who Wants to “Settle” Outside the Court

Following the International Court of Justice’s ruling that exonerated Serbia on all five counts of Bosnian Muslim charges, the Croatian news agencies cite their legal representative Ivan Simonovic recommending that Croatia ought to drop its charges against Serbia and try to “settle” outside the World Court instead.

In other words, Croats should grab any amount of money they can and hide back behind their rock, in order to avoid leaving empty handed, while being exposed to a closer scrutiny for their horrific atrocities against Serbian civilians, war crimes and massive ethnic cleansing of Serbian population they conducted on the territory of both Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

“My personal opinion is that if the key claims in the lawsuit can be obtained with an out-of-court settlement, we should not press further with the trial,” said Simonovic, Croatian representative before the International Court of Justice in the Hague.

Falling prey to an illusion it can also capitalize on Serbia’s demise and getting its greed inflamed by the “billions of dollars” Bosnian Muslims were hoping to milk from Serbia on account of “war reparations” the ICJ was expected to grant them, Croatia rushed to file charges against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999 before the same International Court of Justice in the Hague, accusing it of “genocide and aggression” (?!), which is in part identical to the lawsuit filed in 1993 by Bosnian Muslim war leader, radical Islamist Alija Izetbegovic and his mujahedeen clan.

Let’s Allow Croatia to Prove Its Case, For the Sake of Justice and Truth

One wonders why would Croatia want to back off now if its charges are well documented and just, and why would it stop seeking the international justice, lowering its magnificently noble ethical standards to a shady deal behind the closed doors, where it would merely accept a certain monetary renumeration for no less than “genocide and aggression.” Surely, such grievous crimes and devastating charges could not have been conjured up out of thin air or based on Western mainstream media mythology fueled by the Croat/Muslim-hired PR liars, nor could the whole lawsuit be about the money, could it?!

So, in the interest of Justice and Truth Croatia seeks, I suggest they valiantly persist with their lawsuit and prove their case at the proper place, at the International Court of Justice. In the meantime, they can have another coffee with Hitler & cream, taking pride in the fact their righteousness and victimhood has not been compromised or fouled with thirty silver coins.

Apart from that, perhaps Croats need to be reminded that their state has yet to be sued by the Serbs for the WWII genocide Croat Ustashas have committed over hundreds of thousands of Serbs and tens of thousands of Jews and Gypsies, for which there is ample evidence throughout the world. And if that lawsuit would be connected with the latest genocide Croatian state has committed during the 1990s, since it can easily be proven that the same Ustasha ideology and hatred that ruled Croatia during its fascist years has been resuscitated in the newly Independent State of Croatia (NDH2), then we would be talking about the truth and real justice for a change.

What kind of ''atrocities'' sympathy and charges can most ethnically pure country in Europe hope to achieve against one of the most Ethnically diverse.

From another report
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,255338,00.html

'' "we should try to achieve what we sought in the lawsuit in another way, in an out of court settlement. If we do not succeed, then we should stick with the lawsuit." said Simonovic''

In translation, this says:
''We can't win in the court. If crying over-dramatic bunch of Muslim women cold not persuade ICJ, what chance do we have, so we'll try another way. If we don't succeed that way, we might as well take it to court. We will probably lose, but its worth a shot.''

Mesic later added "justice could perhaps be satisfied in direct negotiations" with Serbia.
Right.
Justice can be satisfied through negotiation.
How can anyone read this and not see anything wrong with it?
Although one should not be surprised - everyone nodded robotically during the brake up of Yugoslavia, reading the reports and 'evidences' with no credibility and no merit.

I say let the Croatians try! Let them take Serbia to court.
And what are they gonna say?
We Croatians lead a dirty media war for the past 15 years, so that now we can now reap financial benefits.

Agreed: let them prove their case at the proper place (keeping in mind that Rudder Fin is not the "proper" place, nor is it BBC, CNN and the rest). If they indeed have one.

Dear Svetlana, God bless you,
and thank you for this beautiful blog. I follow your blog regularly. I'd just like to state a little known fact here for the reading public to know. After clicking on the "PR liars" highlights above I came upon the name of an American journalist by the name of Roy Gutman, who was one of the great "spinners" in a rather fictional story about Serbian atrocities in Bosnia. I'd just like the public to know that Mr.Gutman had been a reporter for Reuters in Belgrade years before, and that he had been involved in a relationship with an alcoholic, Croatian journalist and anti-Serb by the name of Maria Cudina, who used to write for a Croatian weekly (I believe it was called "Star" magazine) and who openly advocated the slaughter of the Serbs whenever she was drunk (and she was rarely sober). Mr. Gutman was engaged to be married to her, but she broke off the engagement. I know all this simply because she was my next-door neighbor. Years later, lo-and-behold, Mr. Gutman shows up with all these highly fictional anti-Serb stories that earned him (a shared) Pulitzer. A coincidence? I think not!

A very important piece of the puzzle, Milica, thank you! Gutman is indeed one of the worst Serb-bashers out there, and someone we should never forget for the shameful role he played in spreading the most appalling lies and smearing the Serbian nation beyond recognition. More on how he collected his "evidence" building the myth of "rape camps", and about Gutman's direct opposites, the honorable journalists and editors who have called for him to return his Pulitzer, being that it was "earned" on sheer lies.

May the Lord bless you too, through the prayers of the Most Holy Theotokos!
