UN Session: Albanian Lobbyists Exposed
Western “ostrich policy” regarding Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province has been tolerated for far too long.
Russian UN Ambassador: UN “Mediators” Openly Lobbying for Kosovo Albanian Separatists
NEW YORK, BELGRADE, March 19, 2007 (Source: Tanjug) — Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin left the consultations about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija province after severely criticizing the report of Joachim Ruecker (UNMIK’s chief in Serbian Kosovo-Metohija), accusing him of openly preaching for independence. Ambassador Churkin also announced the firm position of the official Moscow that the negotiations about the southern Serbian province cannot be terminated.
“Russia is for continuation of the negotiations,” Ambassador Vitaly Churkin told reporters, adding that he clearly stressed to the UN Security Council member states and to the UNMIK chief that he regards Ruecker’s Kosovo-Metohija report one-sided.
“This is yet another indication of the mishandling of the situation. Ruecker used his report to advocate for independence, not to inform us about the real situation in Kosovo province. His remarks have been extremely one-sided and unhelpful. He was preaching for independence instead of discussing implementation of Resolution 1244... I don’t want to talk about the possible veto right now. We shall talk about that when we go to cast the votes,” said Churkin.
Churkin said the UN mediators “are jumping the gun and are beginning to advocate outright independence and this is not good.”
Russia’s UN Ambassador confirmed Monday that Moscow would like to see Martti Ahtissari replaced.
“Ahtissari has been saying he thought he is at the end of the road. So the situation has to be considered. The main thing is not the personality, the main thing is to continue negotiations,” said Churkin.
He also made it clear that any outcome in the Serbian province status talks must be acceptable to the Serbs as well, not just to the Albanian minority in Serbia.
On the other hand, the acting U.S. Ambassador Alejandro Wolff, who unfortunately replaced John Bolton, rushed to Ruecker’s defense saying he had given a “very balanced, objective presentation.”
That German UN Kosovo-Metohija appointee Joachim Ruecker’s report was neither balanced, nor objective (let alone “very balanced and objective”) was proven by the presentation of the President of the Coordinating Center for Kosovo-Metohija, Sanda Raskovic-Ivic, who also briefed the UN Security Council members about the current situation in southern Serbian province. About the real situation, that is, the one West generally prefers to deny.

Daily Attacks and Ethnically-Motivated Violence Can Hardly be Called “Stability”
According to the Serbian Government, at the session where the regular quarterly UNMIK report on the situation in the province was presented, Raskovic-Ivic voiced dissatisfaction with the fact that the situation was described by Joachim Ruecker as “stable, but fragile,” although violence and attacks against Serbs and other non-Albanians occur every day.
The truth that can be easily checked is that in all crucial matters standards are not being fulfilled, she underlined and pointed to many, ethnically-motivated attacks against Serbs and other non-Albanians — 52 in the past three months, including systematic intimidation, threats of massive exodus, defiling of churches and cemeteries, the appearance of para-military formations, kidnappings and beatings.
Raskovic-Ivic requested that the Security Council ensures that Resolution 1244, which guarantees peace and safety to the population in the province, is respected.
She said that the issue of return of the refugees is most worrying, since their houses are being repaired, but the conditions for their return are not being created. She added that according to UNHCR data, only 1,608 people returned in 2006, of whom 31% are Serbs and 54% Roma.
Raskovic-Ivic also said that the privatization of companies in Kosovo is discriminatory.
Give Us a Real Mediator Instead of Albanian Lobbyist Ahtisaari
President of the Coordinating Center for Kosovo-Metohija Sanda Raskovic-Ivic said today that Serbia advocates continuation of negotiations on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija since that is the only way to reach a just and viable solution.
Addressing the regular session of the Security Council in New York, Raskovic-Ivic stressed that Serbia firmly stands by the conviction that the Security Council will be consistent in respecting the UN Charter which would allow a real process of negotiation on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija to begin, with new mediators.
The Serbian government strongly supports the Russian initiative for continuing negotiations and calls for dialogue and continuation of actual and thorough talks, on the basis of the SC Resolution 1244, said Raskovic-Ivic. She added that only such talks could lead to a solution based on compromise and agreement which is in accordance with the UN Charter, and of benefit both to Serbs and ethnic-Albanians.
She said that it is important to give the talks this aim considering the fact that Ahtisaari’s proposal does not fulfill a single condition to appear before the Security Council since it presents solely the interests of ethnic-Albanians and is in direct violation of the UN Charter.
Raskovic-Ivic recalled that Serbia is ready to provide the highest degree of autonomy to ethnic-Albanians, creating the most suitable conditions for them to regulate their future in the province.
According to Raskovic-Ivic, regulation of the province, based on true democratic principles with substantial autonomy, is a realistic and viable solution, and excludes the creation of dangerous precedents which could jeopardize the peace and stability of not just the region, and a serious effect on the entire world order.
Ahtisaari’s Proposal Violates the Score of International Laws, Seeking to Impose the Amputation of Serbian Territory
She reiterated that the negotiations in Vienna were unsuccessful and did not produce any result, that Ahtisaari according to his mandate should have been a mediator in the process of reaching a compromise, and not, as he has done, impose a solution which is suitable only for the Albanian side.
Ahtisaari’s proposal was not drafted by two negotiating sides, he also ignored or rejected almost 500 amendments presented by Belgrade and has delivered to Serbia a proposal for imposing a solution which violates the UN Charter, the SC Resolution 1244, the OSCE Helsinki Final Act and the Serbian Constitution, said Raskovic-Ivic.
She added that it was to be expected that Serbia would reject that plan, just as any other country would do, because it proposes that a part of its territory be snatched away.

It is sad to see that the USA governement under leadership of Bush continues to support Clinton's policies by supporting Ruecker&Ahtisaari, no matter how little resemblance of reality in Kosovo their reports contain. Rueckery&Ahtisaari failed to report to the UN and to general population in their countries (Germany and Finnland) that during the UN mandate Albanians killed more than 1000 Serbs, expelled more than 200,000 Serbs at gun point, destroyed more than 150 Serb orthodox churches in Kosovo…
However, thanks to Russia, Ruecker&Ahtisaari fantasies about Serbs as a guilty nation, and about non-nationalistic, non-practising Muslims, non-violent, non-terrorist… etc Albanians (aka Kosovars), are being exposed in the UN, sooner than they were able to complete their mission based on lies, deception and pulling wool over international opinion.
Meanwhile, ex-Clintonistas forces (such as Holbrook) are still managing to manouver the USA government to support their never acomplished project of independent Kosovo.

It is not just Ahtisaari, Holbrooke and Ruecker who are Albanian "mouth-pieces".
One MUST add Frank Wisner to that list. His role as the US Envoy to Kosovo is one to which he grants great importance to the positions and wants of Albanians. And nothing to the concerns or safety of the NON-ALBANIANS.
When Frank Wisner addressed the Belgian Senate yesterday, he said that IF Albanians in Kosovo do NOT get independence that " Kosovo would burn and the victims will be the Serbs.".
Sounds like THREAT, not a prediction. A US envoy is making a threat against SERBIANS in Kosovo.
Let's consider his FATHER.
The Frank G. Wisner is the son of a man, FRANK GARDINER WISNER, who while serving with an early version of the American CIA, brought thousands of Albanian NAZIS to the USA following WWII.
AH, yes he did and he made sure they received AMPLE compensation from the US Govt. in order to establish their RACIST/NAZI hides in America. The US Govt planned to send old NAZIS back into ALbania to start uprisings against the new Communist government of Albania. They never sent ALL of the Albanians back to Albania, thus we have today a racist Albanian lobby in the USA.
The CIA sent a few team of Albanians but they kept getting caught and killed.
WHY??? Well, it seems that Frank Wisner, Sr. was working on the planned "invasions" with the famous British intelligence agent, KIM PHILBY!!
Kim Philby was a SOVIET agent too!! Philby was filling the Soviets and their Albanian allies in on EVERYTHING planned by the CIA. Thus the Albanian NAZI infiltrators were getting caught and killed.
Now did that situation leave the OLDER Frank Wisner caught in the sticky web of the Albanian CODE OF LEC!! He was, afterall, ultimately responsible for the deaths of ALBANIANS.
He had a breakdown in the 1958 due to JOB PRESSURES. He tried to return to work for the CIA in Britain but was unable to perform his duties. He returned to the USA and resigned from the CIA due to mental illness in 1962.
Guilt and worry has been know to drive one mad.
Frank Gardiner Wisner killed himself with his son, Frank, Jr's gun in 1965.
How much of a COINCIDENT is it that at the present time, the Son, Frank the Younger, is trying to HELP Albanians at all costs. He is tring to assist them in STEALING Kosovo from the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Legitimate Serbian government??
Is there money involved?
Is there a death threat due to the Albanian Code of Lec against the ENTIRE Wisner "clan" because of all the Albanians killed while trying to invade Communist Albania under the orders of Frank,Sr.???
Has to be some sort of "pay-off" somewhere.
And, where is our envoy, Wisner getting the information that the ALBANIANS WILL act like savages AGAIN and kill Serbs??
Oh, I know. He knows about Albanian's history in the area and he knows that their leader, old baldy, CEKU is capable of killing Serbs just like he did in Krajina.
Whatever his reasons, Frank Wisner is PRO-ALBANIAN, period.
