European Parliament Scraps Both Kosovo “Independence” and “Supervised Sovereignity” From the Dutch Draft
BRUSSELS, Belgium, March 13, 2007 (Source: Tanjug) — The European Parliament’s foreign affairs committee rejected in Strasbourg on Monday a Dutch MEP Joost Lagendijk’s suggestion that Kosovo-Metohija province’s future status be “supervised sovereignty,” Lagendijk told Tanjug late on Monday.
The committee decided with the majority votes to delete the term “supervised sovereignty” from Lagendijk’s draft of the European Parliament’s report. The Dutch MEP proposed the term “supervised sovereignty” as a “compromise solution,” after being forced to delete the word independence from his draft under the pressure of a large number of MEPs.
Lagendijk of the Green Left party said that he was “disappointed with this outcome, because he had just wanted to use the right term for the proposed solution for Kosovo.”
“Right term” my ass! Go pay 1.3 billion dollars to the Bosnian Muslims, that’s the “right term” for you. Actually, when I think about it, just take half of your nation’s wealth and hand it over to Bosnian Muslims, because they want it. Then take the other half and throw it over to Kosovo Albanians, since you’re so eager to help, and instead of “helping” them over Serbia’s back. “Right term” indeed! Give them half of your land for the sake of a “right term,” you corrupt moron! Just goes to show you how easy it is to be magnanimous and exact with other people’s stuff.
Anyway, this little skunk (who looks more Albanian than Dutch, if you ask me, but that might simply be due to the beauty of his soul reflecting on his face), has envisaged his report to say that the European Parliament “supports the view that Kosovo should be granted independence and that its sovereignty should, over a period of time, be limited by an international presence.” Now, isn’t that cute!
But then, on March 11, the mass of crude, insensitive MEPs scrapped the whole bit and forced little Joost to squeal: “Obviously, the MEPs are opposed to the statement about Kosovo independence [...] the greatest majority thinks that suggesting Kosovo independence in the report is a bad thing to do.” Poor baby! He whined that 186 amendments have been added to his draft, most of which are pertaining to the first two passages, where Lagendijk mused about “limited independence.”
So, he had to change the first part of his draft, suggesting “supervised sovereignty” instead, as if everyone’s nuts and will think that’s any different: it’s not independence, but sovereignty, and it isn’t limited, but supervised — see?! It’s all changed now, it’s a “compromise”... like Adolfsen’s “compromise” of giving a second state to Albanians on the territory of Serbia: IT’S A COMPROMISE SOLUTION, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YA?! (Sure it is — if he could, he’d make Serbia disappear altogether; but he can’t so, as hard as it is, he has to compromise with himself and his NATO Chiefs and amputate just Serbia’s Jerusalem for now.)
Well, it turns out that it isn’t and it was scrapped too. What will little Joost do now, I wonder? May I suggest going back to trench-digging, brick-laying or any other mind-clearing honest manual labor? Whenever an Insignificus Cretinus starts thinking he’s actually capable of changing the course of history and redrawing world borders free hand, he should be sent back to the trenches. I’d make it a law.
EU and NATO Member Slovakia Rejects Independence for Kosovo Province
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia, March 12, 2007 (Tanjug) — Slovak defense minister Frantisek Kasicky said Monday his country, a member of both EU and NATO, will not support independence for Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province without the consent of Serbia, TASR news agency reported.
Kasicky spoke after meeting with his Serbian counterpart Zoran Stankovic, who is on official visit to the Slovak capital, at the invitation of Slovak Defense Minister.
“It is not possible for an ethnic minority which already has its mother state, to demand the formation of yet another state,” Kasicky said.
“We truly appreciate the principal stance of Slovakia officials that imposed solution is unacceptable, and that solution of this problem requires agreement of both sides,” said Minister Stankovic, after talks with his Slovak colleague.

Thanks for the evaluation, Svetlana. Brilliant as usual.
I was just reading the article you included in your post on the Joost Troll. That article is actually giving me a nose bleed and I felt compelled to comment on it.
What this man bleating on in the article were outright shameful, malicious, propaganda filled lies. It is actually mind numbing.
''Lagendijk's report argues that independence is "the only sustainable settlement" for Kosovo, as it will give it access to international financial institutions and will allow it to move on its path to European integration.''
So what exactly are you telling us Mr. Joost? Its ok to invest in Albanian Kosovo - drug and sex trafficking central of Europe, but God forbid you propose investment in Serbia!
I think Albanians have got finance sorted out, Mr Joost. 75% of prostitution of London is controlled by Albanians.
But I'm sure they would welcome more financing for further drug and sex trafficking.
''At the same time, "limited sovereignty under international monitoring is necessary in order to maintain the multiethnic character of Kosovo and to safeguard the interest and security of the Serb population and of other ethnic minorities," the draft says.''
I wonder what Mr. Joost counts as ''multienthnic''. Does 90% of Albanians and 10% of everyone else, forced into ghettos, afraid for their lives while their property is squated in by invaders and illegal aliens, count as ''multiethnic''?
Maybe he should propose giving Albanians a state in Netherlands or Belgium, that way he can spread even more ''multiethnicity'' all over Europe.
''The only difference he sees between his report and Ahtisaari's proposal is that the UN envoy "does not call it independence and I do," Lagendijk said.''
The only difference is that you are an outright troll, as opposed to Adolfsen who is the undercover troll.
''"We wish to create conditions in which the people of Kosovo will live safely and normally. If the Kosovo Serbs consider our proposals without prejudice, they will find no reason to reject it."''
Is that why there was a massive ethnic cleansing of Serbs and anyone non-Albanian under the UN and NATO noses? Is that the protection we should all count on?
Serbs will consider proposals which are not in violation of basic international and domestic laws, which are not jihad appeasing, dhimmi, ignorant and outright malicious.
Serbia will consider proposals which are not blatantly pro-Albanian, which are not written by arrogant, incompetent, lying, slimy little people who's small minded, short sighted proposals will cause problems, conflicts and open a door to Jihad into Europe.
It is people like Mr Joost, who have allowed Jihad into Europe in Bosnia, and now is making a gate wider open with an invitation written all over Kosovo.
If this is the best Europe has, it should hang its head in shame!

That's right, Mila, the trolls we have to deal with are an entire species of their own. Excellent analysis, btw, thanks!
