Serbian Orthodox Church Holy Assembly: Seizure of Kosovo-Metohija Trampling Over God’s and Human Justice
The Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Friday appealed to the United Nations and all influential states of the world to help find a solution for the status of Kosovo and Metohija that will be acceptable and just for all.
Such a solution should meet the legitimate interests of Serbia and the ethnic Albanian minority in Serbia’s Kosovo-Metohija province, it was said in a message released by the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, which ended in Belgrade on Friday.
The Assembly also called on top state institutions in Serbia — the National Assembly, President and government of Serbia, to defend and be successful in protecting the integrity of Serbia, it was said in the message.
“By defending Serbia they defend law, justice, moral and international order. Serbia is not taking anything from anyone, but it cannot allow to have 15 percent of its territory taken away from it by force,” it was said in the message.
Appealing to the domestic and international community, members of the Serbian Orthodox Church Assembly believe that there is still time to start serious talks and to find, through an agreement, a just solution acceptable to all.
“No one has the right to usurp the rights of one people in the name of the right of another with their historically injudicious policy and to change internationally recognized borders in Europe unilaterally and by use of force,” it was said in the message to the international and domestic public.
Possible granting of independence to Serbian Kosovo and Metohija province would mean trampling over God’s and human justice, seizure of the internationally acknowledged and through centuries confirmed rights of a European Christian nation and creation of a precedent with immeasurable consequences for the Balkans, Europe and the world as a whole, members of the Serbian Church Assembly believe.
The regular biannual meeting of the Serbian Orthodox Church Holy Assembly started under the chairmanship of Patriarch Pavle on May 14.

"Such a solution should meet the legitimate interests of Serbia and the ethnic Albanian minority in Serbia’s Kosovo-Metohija province..."
I think when people talk about solutions that meet the legitimate interests of Serbs and the albanian muslims in Kosovo-Metohija province, they are talking about something that does NOT exist. Dealing with albanian muslims, you're not dealing with rationale folks. These are cruel, sadistic jihadists that worship death the same as their middle-eastern counterparts.
Serbs are folks that wish to live in peace with their neighbors and just be left alone without self-proclaimed "rulers of the world" endlessly sticking their noses in and trying to "broker" deals intended to lead eventually to the annihilation of the Serbian people and Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
The jihadists on the other hand want to ethnically cleanse (genocide) the Serbs and are aided/abetted in this by war criminals within the US, British, German and Franch governments. There is no common ground on which to achieve any agreement.
Any negotiation with jihadists is like negotiation with Charley Manson.
I believe they are prepared to attempt seizure of Kosovo by force or die trying if it is not handed to them by the deceitful, treacherous world community. I believe, as they have historically been called upon to do so in the past, the Serbs will eagerly assist them (jihadists) in this second objective. It would be good if this led to the complete expulsion from the european continent, once and for all, of the malignant demonic cult of islam.
