Albanian Mafia and Western Corruption

Corruption

Something is Rotten in the State of Finland

Recent article by Banja Luka’s daily Fokus citing parts of report by the German Intelligence Service (BND) according to which former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari has taken more than 50 million dollars bribe from Albanian mafia, mostly in cash, to propose severing of the Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province, has been almost entirely ignored by the Western mainstream media and officials.

President of the Serbian Parliament Oliver Dulic has called for inquiry into the allegations. While Ahtisaari’s office has offered no evidence to disprove the claims, his Vienna-based employee Remi Dourlot appeared to have suffered a small nervous breakdown when merely asked about the charges.

The deafening silence on the one hand and the uncontrolled emotional outbursts on the other are rather puzzling, since the BND report — parts of which Fokus revealed — offers a lot of very concrete, detailed information that could easily be dismantled if false, as Ahtisaari’s Vienna spokesman angrily claims.

Part of the report says that portion of $50-plus M., amounting to 2 million Euros, was transfered to the Finn’s personal bank account directly from one of the accounts controlled by a well known Albanian mafia boss based in Switzerland Behgjet Pacolli, who has declared his intention to become the “independent Kosovo’s president” and is using the immense wealth accumulated through money laundering and suspicious business contracts to bribe officials from Washington to Brussels and beyond, in order to secure Albanian seizure of the southern Serbian province.

Washington Drowning in Corruption

...money corruption poses a deadly threat to the American democracy. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), for one, feared the U.S. Constitution would in time “fail ...because of the corruption of the people, in a general sense.” For his part, President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) thought that corruption in high places would follow as “all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.”

The question that remains to answer is whether the American democracy can be saved from the ambient corruption, or whether it is already too late. Indeed, has the United States fallen into a chasm of corruption so deep that it cannot recover from it? (Decadence, Waste, Corruption in the New American Empire by Prof. Rodrigue Tremblay, Global Research)

Back in 2005, Dutch documentary “The Brooklyn Connection” has offered an insight into massive corruption of the top U.S. politicians making themselves available for sale among the various foreign-interest groups. It has revealed that Albanian supporters of the terrorist KLA have been financing the campaigns of American presidential candidates, including John Kerry and Wesley Clark, and steering American foreign policy through Senate and Congress in a way that advances their private agenda.

“With money, you can do amazing things in this country,” delighted Albanian weapons smuggler based in Brooklyn Florin Krasniqi told the filmmakers. “Senators and congressmen are looking for donations, and if you raise the money they need for their campaigns, they pay you back.”

According to the Friday article by the Banja Luka daily, the latest proof that the purchase of Ahtisaari’s proposal is only a tip of the iceberg, since Albanian mafia holds a number of the U.S. Senators and Congressmen in its pockets, comes from the above mentioned Pacolli himself who openly admits having 60 of the top U.S. lawmakers on his payroll in Washington alone.

“I'm paying a team of 60 men lobbying for Kosovo in Washington, starting from the members of the President George Bush’s Administration, down to the American Senators and Congressmen,” Fokus quotes Pacolli as saying in one of the recent interviews where he also claims to be good friends with the former U.S. president Bill Clinton.

The Albanian Muslim billionaire was at the center of a Kremlin corruption scandal eight years ago, during and after NATO aggression on Serbia, when he was suspected of bribing former Russian president Boris Yeltsin. The scandal involved top Russian officials, including the former Kremlin property chief Pavel Borodin and former Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin, as well as the leading International Monetary Fond figures, members of the Clinton administration and heads of a number of international banks. Current chief prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal Carla del Ponte, back then in the role of a Swiss State Prosecutor, stormed Pacolli’s Lugano office of the company “Mabetex” following the request by the Russian State Prosecutor Yurii Skuratov. After over a year of investigations, the Swiss authorities have charged Behgjet Pacolli with money laundering and “criminal association.”

Business of Buying History, People and States

Born in the village Marevac near Pristina in the Serbian Kosovo province, Behgjet Pacolli is the owner of the construction company “Mabetex” based in Lugano, Switzerland, with the wealth estimated between 2-3 billion dollars. The tentacles of the Albanian’s “construction business” reach across the globe, spawning through 18 countries including the United States, Austria, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, China, Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Muslim part of Bosnia (Sarajevo) and, of course, Kosovo province’s Pristina.

Another confirmation that Pacolli intends to use his financial empire to gain political power is the newly established Kosovo Albanian lobbying group in the United States, “The Alliance for a New Kosovo,” directly funded by Pacolli, and the newly formed political party “New Kosovo Alliance,” through which Albanian billionaire hopes to attain the position of the premier of the independent Kosovo state.

The Alliance for a New Kosovo is presided by the head officers from the American Jefferson Waterman International lobbying group whose clients include Croatia and Rwanda, Samuel Hoskinson and Kempton Jenkins. The Alliance’s board of advisors includes former U.S. Secretary of Defense and CIA Deputy Director Frank Carlucci and notorious William G. Walker, who served to cover up the infamous death squad killings of Jesuits in El Salvador and to instigate NATO aggression on Serbia by setting up Racak Hoax as the leader of the “Kosovo Verification Mission” within OSCE.

Europe Reclaiming Its Own Independence

Belgrade exhibition
Currently presiding over the Council of Europe, Serbia is also hosting the most unique exhibition under the open skies of Belgrade’s medieval Kalemegdan fort, magnificent works by the National Geographic photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

Council of Europe: Kosovo Province is Integral Part of Serbia

On Tuesday, speaking about the status of the southern Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija during the summer session of the Council of Europe Parliament in Strasbourg, the institution’s Secretary General Terry Davis told journalists that the CoE supports territorial integrity of all its member states, including Serbia. He added that the issue of the status of Kosovo-Metohija was one for the UN Security Council, and that position of the Council of Europe can only be changed if the UN Security Council adopts a resolution which would impose changing of the borders of Republic of Serbia.

At the same time, Davis said, awaiting a decision from the UN, the Council of Europe will continue to treat Kosovo-Metohija province as an integral part of Serbia.

In case Pristina separatists would declare independence for the province unilaterally, and the United States decides to recognize Serbian province as a new state, the CoE will not change its position, “since the U.S. is not a member of the Council of Europe,” Davis concluded.

Belgium: New Negotiations Without Predetermined Results

Belgian Foreign Minister Karel de Gucht was quoted Wednesday in the Albanian separatist paper Express as saying that many members of the Security Council and of the EU think that unconditional negotiations between Pristina and Belgrade should begin. This, says the paper, means dropping a clause in the draft resolution for Kosovo which specifies automatic approval of the Ahtisaari’s draft after 120 days of negotiations.

The move is categorized by the Kosovo Albanian separatists as “another concession to Russia which is much greater than before.” “It is such a great concession that it is not known how the Unity Team and the Kosovo citizens will receive it,” it adds.

De Gucht’s statement in Express clarifies the view that Kosovo will not move automatically to independence if the parties fail to agree after 120 days of new negotiations which is how it is regulated by the recent draft resolution.

The paper says de Gucht’s statement comes after his meeting with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic.

Express says that de Gucht echoed the words of the Russian Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin, who said recently that it is meaningless to hold new talks if the final outcome is known in the beginning. “For as long as you want to offer the possibility of new negotiations, you should not say what the outcome of those negotiations will be, before they even begin,” de Gucht said.

The paper notes that the statement of the Belgian official indicates that Russia has managed to change the course of the international community towards Kosovo-Metohija status by opening a new process which may invalidate Ahtisaari’s package and be replaced with another solution.

“We are in favor of a type of moratorium which would not last more than four months. During this time, there should be negotiations but without preempting the result,” de Gucht added.

American Support for Extreme Islamists in the Balkans

Kosovo conundrum by Michael Djordjevich, Washington Times

At the forthcoming summit, among other issues, Presidents Bush and Putin will face the problem of independence for the Serbian province Kosovo.

Kosovo is unfinished business, left over from the violent dissolution of Yugoslavia in the past decade and the legacy of fundamentally flawed American policies promulgated by the Clinton administration and then perpetuated by his successor. In terms and perspective of American long-term geostrategy and the ongoing struggle with radical Islam, it is indeed unfathomable how our foreign policy establishment has rationalized its strategy in the Balkans. Already, a body of impartial evidence strongly suggests an inexplicably steady policy of accommodation by the United States to Islamist demands. Essentially, at several key junctures on the road to peace and stability in the Balkans, America gave veto power to extreme Islamist leadership and its supporters worldwide.

The U.S. objective in Bosnia has been to establish a unitary state governed by Muslims, in effect abrogating the international treaty, the Dayton Accords. Together with the European Union, the United States has exerted consistent and relentless pressure to abolish or at least severely diminish the Serbian entity.

Currently in Kosovo, America is aggressively forcing the establishment of the second Muslim state in Europe. This is in contravention of international law and despite serious misgivings in Europe and resolute resistance by Russia.

Kosovo Rather Far from Democracy and Multiculturalism U.S. Professes to Support

An independent Kosovo would be a failed state, ethnically and religiously cleansed of Serbs and other minorities. During the past eight years of U.N. and NATO control of the province, the non-Albanian population experienced ethnic cleansings, destruction of a great number of homes and more than 100 churches and other medieval evidences of overwhelming Christian presence. Add to this a flourishing international drug and white slave trafficking, Kosovo is rather far from the democratic and multicultural model that the U.S. foreign policy establishment professes to support. Obviously these are not credentials for independence.

Equally serious is the undeniable rise of the puritanical strain of Wahabbi Islam and real potential for increased interacting between heroin trafficking and crime with terrorists in Kosovo, Southern Serbia, Bosnia and Northern Macedonia.

Where is the quid pro quo for rendering such significant aid to the Islamist agenda in the Balkans? Putting aside slogans and calculated deceptions, the U.S. geostrategic balance sheet in the Balkans shows perceived assets — such as, for example, the preservation of NATO by activating it in war in Bosnia and against Serbia, testing the functioning of international laws and treaties and institutions in the post-cold war world, standing up for expansion of democracy and multiculturalism, punishing Serbia and ascertaining Russian response, stopping wars and ethnic cleansing in the Balkans, imposing its will on Europe and concerns of the European Union and establishing a beachhead in Albania.

Likely, the most significant asset was recently named by the chairman of the House foreign affairs committee, Rep. Tom Lantos. Advocating independence for Kosovo, he said “just a reminder to the predominantly Muslim-led governments in this world that here is yet another example that the United States leads the way for creation of a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe.” Impartial examination of each of these strategic assets may not value them highly. They can in fact be liabilities for our long-term strategic interests and will undermine Europe.

Vidovdan

The Never-ending Battle

Vidovdan: We Shall Neither Yield, Nor Submit

“Whoever keeps his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew, 10:39)

Some 60 years after the Battle of Kosovo, Constantinople fell, the capital of Eastern Christianity. The Christian emperor, of Serbian blood and origin by one of his parents, was killed. It could be said that that disaster was like Kosovo. And it might also be said that it was an event even greater than Kosovo. God forbid!

In the field of Kosovo the Christian army marched toward death, while in Constantinople they remained in the town hoping to the last moment that death would somehow turn its back on them. When the first cannonballs in history penetrated the city ramparts, terror ensued so that both the army and the citizens were panic-stricken. All the churches were filled with crying and prayer to God for the salvation of the city, that is for the salvation of their bodies and for the salvation of the state and the earthly kingdom. That is why the Greeks recorded the fall of Constantinople as night and not as day, as destruction and not as victory. It is true that it was a battle between the cross and the crescent, but without an oepos and without any inspiration for future generations.

For a defeat understood only as defeat cannot arouse anybody’s enthusiasm. Nor can Golgotha itself without the Resurrection inspire and strengthen anybody.

The Serbian Kosovo is a totally different matter.

Marching Into Eternal Glory

As the dead are dressed in new and expensive clothes, so was the Serbian army dressed in its best robes. The glowing procession hurried from all the borders of the empire onto honor and glory, to the field of Kosovo. Shaded with cross-shaped banners and the icons of their family saints (slava), singing and cheering, singing and playing musical instruments, with song and joy, the army rushed toward its execution. Does not that remind us of the first groups of Christians who in such a mood went under the sword or to the fire or before the beasts?

Not a single Christian martyr is known to have prayed to God to save him from his approaching death, while thousands and thousands are known to have prayed not to be spared from a martyr’s death. Neither did Lazar’s army hold prayers for salvation from death. On the contrary, it confessed its sins and took Communion in preparation for death. An entire people as one Christian martyr, obedient to the thoughtful will of the Almighty, accepted the bitterness of death, and that not as bitterness but as a life-giving force.

And has not Kosovo right up to the present day, indeed, served as a vital force to dozens of generations?

Kosovo is Our Golgotha and Our Resurrection

In the history of the Christian peoples there is not another case of one entire army, an entire nation being imbued by the wish to die in order to meet death for the sake of its religion. This was not to meet a suicidal but a heroic death. Kosovo is unique in the 20 centuries old history of the Christian world. Those are mistaken who say that Kosovo stopped the wheel of our history and held us back. If it had not been for Kosovo, we would have been a great nation today! It was Kosovo that made us a great nation. It is our Golgotha; but it is at the same time our spiritual and moral resurrection.

Still, the holy body of Lazar, imbued with Heavenly power, lies whole even today curing all human disabilities. The bodies of the other knights of the cross were not lost, although they remained on the battlefield. Their bodies were sanctified by their holy souls, and the entire land of Kosovo was dedicated by their holy bodies. Thenceforth Kosovo became the campo santo, the Holy Field.

Vidovdan, Serbian Greatest Slava

That is why the Serbs, even those living in America, come and take a handful or a bag of soil from the holy field of Kosovo to carry it and keep it as a sacred relic in their places of worship and their homes, as is done from the tomb of St. Dimitrije in Salonika or the graves of other Christian martyrs. Kosovo is the greatest tomb of Christian martyrs killed in a single day. No other of such magnitude is known to us. And celebrating the deathday of their saint, the whole Serbian people honor and commemorate St. Vitus’ Day (Vidovdan). He who honors the holy martyrs, such as the archdeacon Stefan or Djordje or Dimitrije or Teodor or Trifun or Good Friday and Easter Sunday or Ss. Petar and Paul, does not honor the defeated but the victor; neither does he honor the dead but the living.

Therefore, by celebrating the great martyrdom of the Kosovo martyrs, we do not celebrate the defeated ones but the victors, not the dead but those who are alive. Vidovdan is the greatest Slava of the Serbian people. It is day and not night - it is the Day.

Heavenly Kingdom is Forever

St. Tzar Lazar

The book itself preached to the Tsar:
“Tsar Lazar of noble ancestry!
Which kingdom will you choose?
Will you choose the earthly kingdom?
Or will you choose the heavenly kingdom?

If you choose the earthly kingdom ...
All the Turkish host will perish.
If you choose the heavenly kingdom ...
All your army will perish,
And you, O Prince, will die with them.”

After the Tsar heard these words,
He pondered all sorts of thoughts:
“Dear God, what shall I do and how shall I?
Which kingdom shall I choose?

Shall I choose the earthly kingdom?
Or shall I choose the heavenly kingdom?
The earthly kingdom lasts only a brief time,
But the heavenly kingdom always and forever.”

So the Tsar chose the heavenly kingdom ...
Then the Turks mounted their attack against Lazar.

And the Serbian Prince Lazar perished,
Together with his entire army,
Seventy-seven thousand in number,
And all was holy and honorable
And acceptable to gracious God ...

Goodbye and Good Riddance, Michael Polt!

American psyops

Polt’s Last Charade

The outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Michael Polt, King of Arrogance and Conceit, has managed to put a foot in his mouth once again, at his last public performance in Belgrade’s Fine Arts Center where the Soros-funded “Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia” (NUNS) organized his speech.

In his memorable mudslinging style, Mr Serbs-Can’t-Wait-To-See-His-Back expressed his “disappointment for not being able to give a lecture at the Belgrade Faculty of Political Science,” explaining that he was “not allowed to speak there because the school was wary of a negative reaction from the Serbian Government if the speech was attended by journalists.”

Since the Serbs are already familiar with Polt’s fertile imagination, it came as no surprise when the faculty issued a statement revealing that Polt’s claims are entirely false. The fact of the matter is that the Faculty of Political Science invited Polt to give a lecture for students of specialized U.S. studies on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Marshall Plan. Polt accepted the invitation, but demanded to have media present during his lecture along with the students.

Taken aback by such request which shows that the university would be misused as the U.S. Ambassador’s personal soapbox for his political agenda, the faculty rejected Polt’s demand for media attending the event, stating that it was unusual to have media present at such seminars.

“The faculty did not in this or any other instance prevent the American Ambassador from saying what he thinks needs to be said. All we wanted to do was to make sure that no one politicized the lecture,” a statement from FPN said, adding that the faculty also told the American embassy that Polt would be able to address the media after the lecture.

PSYOPS Polt’s Way

So, having his soapbox moved over to a much more cherished audience consisting solely of media representatives, U.S. Ambassador wasted no time in cheerfully kicking the Marshall Plan to the curb — who gives a damn about that! Instead, Polt used all his formidable put-down skills to inform the Serbs one last time of their utter insignificance and futility of their struggle to preserve Kosovo province within Serbia.

He opened the sermon with a claim that Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija, contrary to what the Serbs believe, is rather unimportant — so much so that at the meeting between Presidents Putin and Bush scheduled for July 1, it surely won’t be among the top subjects of the conversation.

Unbeknownst to Polt, on the very same day CIA’s own loudspeaker, Stratfor, in the article titled “A return to Kosovo” directly contradicted Polt’s claims, saying that “although Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President George W. Bush will have several important items on their plate at their July 1-2 meeting in Maine, the main topic will be Kosovo.”

But being that Polt’s job never was related to truth and common decency in any way and, instead, represents a highly focused PSYOPS assignment, where the aim is to confuse, demoralize and detract, the facts really are unimportant. Besides, Polt is obviously so sure of Serbs’ complete inferiority, that he confidently assumes the only statements that count are those coming from his mouth: which Serb has ever heard of Stratfor and who among the Serbs is ever gonna know what they say?!

He went on to drive home the point: Kosovo-Metohija province is already lost to Serbs, Ahtisaari’s $50M plan for “supervised independence” is already a compromise (probably between Albanians and Albanians, or between Bush and Bush), Serbs are losers, let go, give up give up give up give up give up....

The Most Beautiful Words Ever Uttered by an American Ambassador

In an attempt to simulate an argument — for the lack of a real one — Polt resorted to some very bad, dangerous bluffing: “What if we were to tell you today that we were wrong and that Kosovo is yours, and that we are withdrawing our forces from Kosovo by Saturday. What then?!”

To which Serbian government spokesman Srdjan Djuric responded immediately, stating that US Ambassador to Serbia Michael Polt (finally!) “made an interesting suggestion,” which the Serbian government is prepared to discuss: that the United States wants to withdraw from Kosovo-Metohija.

Serbian Government: Excellent Suggestion!

“This is the first time that the Serbian government has heard an interesting new suggestion, voiced by US Ambassador Michael Polt, that the United States wants to withdraw from Kosovo and accept that Kosovo remain an integral part of Serbia,” Djuric said.

“The Serbian government is prepared to discuss this suggestion with US officials,” Djuric said.

So far, neither Polt, nor the U.S. State Department has responded to the latest invitation by the Serbian government to discuss U.S. Ambassador’s proposal for American withdrawal from the southern Serbian province.

Tears and Threats

Celebrating
Celebrating Serbia’s demise with NATO soldiers in the summer of 1999. The party’s now over.

The Party’s Over

Despite tens and hundreds of millions of dollars spent on corrupt Western politicians and diplomats, rented U.S. senators, congressmen and presidential candidates and splurged on various Western lobbying groups, despite all the firm promises and overconfident reassurances during the past decade, it is becoming more and more obvious that West cannot deliver on its promise of gifting Albania No. 2 to Kosovo-Metohija separatists on the territory of Serbia — signed, sealed and wrapped in the shiny UN Security Council red ribbon.

As the painful reality is sinking in, the prolonged state of debilitating drunken exuberance is quickly turning into an extremely unpleasant hangover, resulting in an already lengthy Kosovo Albanian enemy-list growing by leaps and bounds each day. It now includes their own terrorists and war criminals who represented them within the Albanian secessionist “negotiating team” and their own provisional “government” in the Serbian province, beside the ever-present Serbs, and along the Russians and other “big powers,” United Nations, UNMIK and KFOR — everyone’s guilty for failing to fulfill their wishes. In a way, one can understand the resentment, given that their mobster-leaders, encouraged by the countless utterly reckless Western politicians, have gone as far into fostering a nation-wide delusion as opening a public contest for KosovA “national symbols,” hymn, flag and whatnot. They are now approaching a moment when they might have to tell their followers they can shove both the flag and the hymn up where the sun doesn’t shine.

Resign or Else!

Kosovo Albanian negotiating team has suffered failure in the process of the determination of the future status of Kosovo, and that is why “its members should resign and ask the public for forgiveness, because otherwise someone else will force them to do that,” the Pristina Albanian separatist daily Koha Ditore writes.

In a commentary published last week, the highest-circulation Albanian daily in southern Serbian province said that it is now perfectly clear that Martti Ahtisaari’s plan will not get the blessing of the United Nations Security Council and that the Kosovo Albanian institutions are to blame for that.

“Not in two weeks, and not in four months. In fact, there remains only one chance, the last chance — the meeting of the two presidents, Bush and Putin, on July 1 and 2, to see if there will be anything,” the daily said.

“A Heavy Blow”

Kosovo Albanians and the local international representatives do not know how to act, which is “a heavy blow inflicted on Kosovo which is already on its knees in every sense of the word,” the commentary said.

“With a corrupt government that has lost its orientation and compass, with an international administration whose members have already packed their bags and are about to say ‘good-bye’, with unemployment and unprecedented poverty and, at the very end, with a public deeply disappointed in politics and their politicians, but also in the big powers, it seems that all the circumstances are leading up to something happening that very few people expected — outbursts of disappointment and anger, which will have consequences not only for the small country, but for the entire region as well,” Koha Ditore threatens.

In the event of a failure of the meeting between United States President George Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the resolving of the Kosovo-Metohija issue in the way Albanian separatists want it “resolved”, “the only and last chance that the unity team has is to proclaim independence. Whether someone wants that or not, and whether someone likes that or not,” the daily concluded.

Serbia-U.S. Relations Deteriorating

Taking liberties

Friendly Relations Must Include Mutual Respect

President of the Serbian-American Center Prof. Svetozar Stojanovic told Tanjug Monday that Serbia wants good partnership and friendly relations with the US, but this must include mutual respect regardless of differences in size and power of the two countries.

“The US is a big power and Serbia is a small country, but partnership and friendship must involve mutual respect,” he said.

What if Serbia Supported Separatist Movement in Hawaii?

Commenting the statement of Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica that increasingly frequent statements by the US officials in support of severing Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province are leading to a deterioration of Serbian-US relations, Stojanovic said that the US administration would certainly react the same way if, for instance, Serbia were to support a separatist movement in Hawaii.

“Mutual rights and international law and ethics must be respected in all relations among individuals or states,” he noted.

“Should the present trend continue, it will regretfully lead to a deterioration of relations between the two states and peoples, independently of the wishes of either President George Bush, Premier Kostunica or anyone in Serbia,” Stojanovic said.

U.S. Responsible for Aggravating Relations With Serbia

Democratic Party of Serbia spokesman Andrija Mladenovic said on Monday that the United States is responsible for the aggravating of relations with Serbia, “because of the increasingly frequent statements by its representatives that a part of the Serbian territory should be transformed into a new Albanian state.”

Addressing a regular press conference, Mladenovic said relations between the two countries, built up over many years are good, and have been improved in the recent times, but all of that is now being jeopardized.

Promising Part of Someone Else’s State Absolutely Unacceptable

“It is absolutely unnatural and unacceptable to usurp part of the territory of a democratically recognized, sovereign state, in order to deliver on a promise of an independent state to an ethnic minority that lives in the territory of that state,” Mladenovic said.

Democratic Party of Serbia welcomed the stand of the Russian Federation, confirmed yet again at a meeting held Sunday in Zagreb, where president Vladimir Putin of Russia reiterated that no resolution that would bring an imposed solution, or a solution that cannot be acceptable to both sides, can be passed by the United Nations Security Council.

Kosovo-Metohija Declaration

Kosovo-Metohija Serbs Unanimously Adopt Declaration on Preserving Kosovo Within Serbia

According to Tanjug, a Declaration on the preservation of Kosovo-Metohija within Serbia was adopted unanimously in the provincial town of Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday, at a session of the Community of Serb municipalities and places in Kosovo and Metohija and the Serbian National Council (SNV) of Northern Kosovo and Metohija.

Declaration, which was drafted by the Serbian Kosovo-Metohija communities on the grounds of the Serbian Constitution, the United Nations Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 1244, underscores that Kosovo and Metohija represents “a part of the unique and indivisible territory of the sovereign state of Serbia,” Community of Serb municipalities President Marko Jaksic explained.

“We, the citizens of the Republic of Serbia from Kosovo and Metohija, confirm with this Declaration that we will consider non-existent and legally invalid any possible acts or actions with which the independence of Kosovo and Metohija is proclaimed unilaterally, and that we will consider valid only the acts or actions by the government of the Republic of Serbia, other state organs of the Republic of Serbia, and the Constitutional and state-legal order of the Republic of Serbia,” the Declaration said.

SNV of Northern Kosovo President Milan Ivanovic said that there can be no severing of the southern Serbian province. “If United States would nevertheless unilaterally recognize the independence of Kosovo-Metohija, such act would annul the UN Security Council Resolution 1244. In that way, there would be no legal grounds whatsoever for the continuous United States’ presence in the province,” said Ivanovic.

The Declaration will be put up for signing by the Serbs and other non-Albanians throughout Kosovo and Metohija. Collecting of signatures will begin symbolically on Vidovdan (St Vitus day), June 28, at Gazimestan.

Serbian Prime Minister: U.S. Policy Leads to Deterioration in Relations

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said on Monday that the United States spearheaded the efforts to create another Albanian state in the territory of Serbia and added that this directly resulted in the deterioration of bilateral relations.

“Frequent statements of US officials in favor of Kosovo independence lead to the deterioration of the Serbian-US relations,” Kostunica was quoted by the RTS as saying.

He said that Serbian officials had repeatedly made it clear that the preservation of territorial integrity was Serbia’s top state and national interest.

“We think that our demand that the US, in line with the UN Charter, should respect Serbia’s internationally recognized borders, is completely legitimate. If the US wants to develop good relations with Serbia, then it goes without saying that it must respect Serbia’s territorial integrity,” Kostunica said, adding that the entire international order and inter-governmental relations among all sovereign states rest on this universal rule.

Boris Tadic of Sorosia

Tadic with his Master

Boris Tadic, President of Sorosia

The most important, scandalous news that Martti Ahtisaari, appointed by the United Nations to mediate between Serbs and Kosovo Albanian terrorists a settlement for Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province, has taken bribes to mislead the world with fake negotiations and to propose the independence for the province has been buried, while the non-news that Boris Tadic is a Soros’ puppet, serving the interests of everyone but the Serbs, has been drummed up as the main piece of information coming from the Balkans.

Boris Tadic may wish to be, but he is not the president of 75 percent of Serbs who voted for other Serbian political parties and leaders. He is certainly not my president, as I would not give him my vote in three consecutive lifetimes. Because he is inordinately dumb, brought to power by the Serbian enemies and supported by those who actively pursue severing Kosovo-Metohija from Serbia and by those who constantly search for the ways to humiliate the Serbian nation further. He may be a president of Sorosia within Serbia, but most of the Serbs are forced to put up with his nominal presidency, hoping to endure his treacherous idiocy with some measure of dignity.

We Are Sorry You Have Been Exterminating Us for an Entire Century

At the very time new mass graves where the bodies of butchered Serbian refugees were collectively dumped during violent campaign of purging Croatia of its Serbian population are being dug up; only few days after the International Refugee Day, when it was determined that Serbia is still the country with the most refugees in Europe, many of whom are not allowed to return to Croatia twelve years after the war has ended; as the world is stunned by another explosion of exuberant Croat fascism, where Zagreb Ustasha Fest has drawn more than 60,000 fervent fans cheering “Kill, kill, kill the Serb,” and giving thunderous Seig Heil greetings to verses celebrating Ustasha slaughters; while Croatia has never been forced to face its responsibility for one of the worst slaughter-houses it willingly became during the WWII and as the genocidal policies and atrocious war crimes of the Tudjman/Mesic government during the 1992-1995 war, with an accent on the operations “Flash” and “Storm,” are still celebrated in Croatia as heroism, Boris Tadic has found it’s only proper for Serbs to apologize to Croats.

Send a monkey to Croatia, and you get an orangutan entertaining masses by scratching his red ass in the Zagreb TV studio — a hilarious little skit he is bound to be praised for in both Sorosia and Croatia.

Rubbing Salt In the Open Wound

“Tadic has apologized to Croats for everything they have done from Ante Pavelic to Franjo Tudjman; for killing hundreds of thousands of Serbs and for purging millions of Serbs from their homes,” said Aleksandar Vucic, Secretary-General of the largest political party, Serbian Radical Party.

“He apologized to Croats for over 700,000 Jasenovac victims, for more than half a million people purged from Krajina and Western Slavonia. He apologized for the operations ‘Flash’ and ‘Storm’. He apologized to Croats for the worst genocide they have committed after the World War Two and on the territory of Europe,” said Vucic.

Zarko Obradovic of the Socialist party said that Tadic’s apology is a great disappointment, since he admitted something that objectively does not exist. “The expulsion and ethnic cleansing of Serbs, and other events of the 1990s are constantly kept in the shadows, while there is a strong pressure to force the Serbs to keep apologizing to the countries of former Yugoslavia for the things they did not do,” said Obradovic.

No Serb, including Boris Tadic, can ever cure the feverish, pathological Croat hatred of the Serbs. By issuing broad apologies (“for anything anyone has ever done”) for non-existent crimes and by taking it upon himself to make Serbian victims of Croat madness seem deserving of such wrath and atrocities Croats cheerfully repeat whenever given an opportunity, Sorosia’s president has only managed to rub more salt into the wound of the nation he wrongly assumes he represents.

BND: White Slaves and Millions of Heroin Dollars for Ahtisaari’s Plan

All that glitters...

Fifty Million Dollars and Up for Dismembering a Medium-Size Sovereign State

Former Finnish president and one of the world’s most respected living Nazis Martti Ahtisaari (i.e. Adolfsen) is a very busy man these days. Turkey — correctly noting Ahtisaari’s strong pro-Muslim bias, undoubtedly a result of historically sound and productive fascist/Muslim alliances — wants Ahtisaari to help them break into the EU. In Northern Ireland, where Ahtisaari was meddling before, he was appointed an “international advisor” to a reconciliation group.

Let’s hope they can afford the 70-year-old whore with a steep price list.

According to the June 21 article by the Banja Luka daily Fokus, titled “Albanian Mafia Bought Ahtisaari,” German Federal Intelligence Service BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst) has recently sent a report to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon revealing that Albanian separatists and terrorists in Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province have literally purchased Ahtisaari’s plan which suggests independence for the Serbian province and its severing from Serbia.

German Secret Service has found that 2 million Euros (2.68 million USD) have been transfered directly to Ahtisaari’s personal bank account, and that amounts of multi-million Euros were given to the UN envoy in cash on at least two occasions, totaling up to 40 million Euros (over 53 million U.S. dollars).

According to the Fokus’ source, the German BND Secret Service Brigadier Luke Neiman was directly appointed by the German government to designate part of the German Secret Service apparatus to the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, after the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon requested such service. It was, therefore, the UN Secretary-General who received the detailed report about the corruption of his special envoy Martti Ahtisaari.

Reportedly, the BND agents have immediately discovered clear connection and regular contacts between the leading figures of Kosovo Albanian mafia, their subordinates and Martti Ahtisaari. The agents have also established that Ahtisaari has had frequent telephone communications with the Albanian billionaire, mafia boss living in Switzerland Behgjet Pacolli.

Price of the “Supervised Independence:” Two Million Via Bank, Four Coffers of Heroin Cash and Couple of White Slaves

One of the recorded conversations was pertaining to a transaction in the amount of 2 million Euros from the Swiss bank in Basel, the account No. 239700-93457-00097, protected as an offshore account under the code XS52-KOLER. The account owner is Exhet Boria, the right hand of the Albanian mafia boss. Two million Euros were transfered from this to the account No. 3459346699004533, code VOLANND, in the Cyprus bank. In order to withdraw the money from these accounts, all that was needed was to give the codes to a bank teller.

German Intelligence Service agents have made a note that on February 12, 2007, at 6:23 a.m., jeep with the registration plates PR-443-22CD, which belongs to the Kosovo Albanian provisional “government”, arrived in front of the UN Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari’s building. Two men carrying two silver-color briefcases went in, handing the briefcases to Ahtisaari. A source in the building later confirmed that the briefcases were filled with cash and given to the UN envoy.

Twelve days later, at 5:44 p.m. the exact same thing took place, only this time it was Exhet Boria personally who exited the black Mercedes Benz with no plates, followed by the two bodyguards carrying two silver-color briefcases.

BND agents found that all four briefcases, later protected with the diplomatic labels, safely arrived to Finland without check-ups and were delivered to Martti Ahtisaari’s home address.

On the last day of February, at 11:47 p.m., German Secret Service agents made a note about the arrival of the KFOR (NATO troops stationed in Serbian Kosovo province, Kosovo FORce) jeep which brought two young women over, followed by Boria’s bodyguard. The girls were in Ahtisaari’s quarters until 5:17 a.m., when they were driven away by the same vehicle.

Ending the Madness

Kostunica Calls Western Countries to Withdraw Their Proposal

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica called upon Western countries which proposed the new draft resolution on Kosovo-Metohija to withdraw their proposal since it contravenes the UN Charter, and advocates seizing a considerable portion of the territory of another UN member-state.

“Thanks to Russia’s principled stance, it is clear that a resolution which severely breaches essential principles of international law cannot pass the Security Council,” said Kostunica.

No Explanation for Ending the Talks or for Failing to Reopen Them

“We still haven’t received any explanation whatsoever as to why the talks were stopped and why new talks on Kosovo aren’t opened at Belgrade’s initiative. The Serbian government has forwarded an official proposal to the UN Secretary General on the continuation of talks on the province’s future status, for which no new resolution is needed, but only good will to sit at the negotiating table and seek a compromise solution through dialogue,” reads the Prime Minister’s written statement.

Kosovo-Metohija Minister: UN Resolution Should Result From Talks, Not Precede Them

Speaking about the draft US-European resolution presented yesterday at the UN headquarters, Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic said that this text brings nothing new in comparison with the previous two drafts and is unacceptable both for Belgrade and Moscow.

He pointed out that the new draft resolution is not encouraging the Albanian side to negotiate. Instead, it is giving them a misguiding signal that they should only wait four months until the final decision is made, while all the time they are being guaranteed that the final decision, monitored independence of Kosovo-Metohija, will be accepted by Serbia and Russia.

Samardzic said that Serbia does not need a new UN Security Council resolution before the talks on Kosovo-Metohija resume, particularly not a resolution imposing deadlines on the talks and predefining their outcome.

In a statement to the Tanjug news agency, Samardzic said that if a resolution is to be made in the end, it would have to result from the talks and the already achieved compromise solution between Belgrade and Pristina.

According to Samardzic, in order for real negotiations to be given a chance, the talks cannot be limited in time and defined in advance by the acceptance of Ahtisaari’s proposal, or on the province’s independence as the certain outcome of the talks.

Imperial Poker
Moscow, Belgrade Call U.S. Bluff

By Nebojsa Malic, AntiWar.com

One of the more persistent misconceptions about the current Emperor is that he is from Texas. He may have lived there for many years, may have even been the governor of the state, but he was in fact born in Connecticut. A real Texan would know a thing or two about playing poker.

There is a great country song by Kenny Rogers, called “The Gambler.” Part of it goes, “You got to know when to hold’em, know when to fold’em/Know when to walk away and know when to run.” It doesn’t seem His Imperial Greatness has ever heard of it, though, because he is trying to raise the stakes even as others are calling his bluff.

The Misunderestimating of ‘No’

Mere days after being clearly informed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Heiligendamm that Russia’s “no” to the proposed independence of Kosovo in fact meant “no,” and not “yes” or even “maybe,” Emperor Bush — basking in the glow of a personality cult in Albania — declared his Empire‘s absolute commitment to the separatist Albanian cause.

According to BIRN, the Emperor told his Albanian hosts:

“You get your diplomats working with Russians and EU diplomats to see if there is not a common ground. If you end up being in a position where you don’t, at some point of time, sooner rather than later, you got to say: that’s enough — Kosovo is independent.”

As expected, Serbian authorities condemned Bush’s statement: “The U.S. has to find some way of showing its favor and love for the Albanians other than presenting them with Serbian territories,” Prime Minister Kostunica quipped.

Expectations that Moscow or Belgrade would fold — accept the demands for independence of the occupied Serbian province — have proven wrong on every count. They hold strong cards: international law, precedent, principle, rules, charters and treaties. What is in Bush’s hand?

Arrogance and Stupidity

It appears the Empire is holding nothing but a single Will-to-Power. It has been known for some time now that Bush and his closest followers believed their actions shaped reality itself, and all criticism was merely inconsequential chatter of the “reality-based community.” Now even lower-level bureaucrats, such as Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried, have actually come to believe in this notion.

During his visit to Serbia this week, Fried launched into a diatribe against Serb “denial,” claiming that he was the only one with enough courage to tell the “truth” — which, according to him, is that “Milosevic lost Kosovo when he went to war with NATO and committed atrocities against the Kosovars.”

But it wasn’t Slobodan Milosevic who went to war with NATO — it was the other way around! As for the “atrocities,” the Empire has not managed to produce a single shred of evidence that any of them actually took place, even after eight years of NATO occupation. Meanwhile, Albanian atrocities against Serbs, Roma, Turks and other Albanians have taken place under the very noses of NATO “peacekeepers” and are documented in detail.

The UPI report quoting Fried’s drivel framed the possibility of “ethnic violence” in Kosovo as an expected result of Serb desires for Kosovo “to remain a part of greater Serbia” (sic!) or attempt partition. In fact, it is the Albanian separatists threatening violence against both Serbs and the UN/NATO occupiers, if they do not get their way. “Violence is not acceptable and KFOR will deal with it,” UPI quotes Fried as saying.

Just as they “dealt with it” in 2004?

One has to commend the Department of State for efficiency, however, for putting such arrogance and stupidity in the same package.

West Attempts to Push Delayed Kosovo Independence Through the UN Security Council

From West with love

Another Rotten Egg for Serbs

The US and European Union distributed Wednesday in the UN a new, third draft resolution on Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province, basically the same as the previous two U.S. State Department drafts, with the only difference of proposing to delay severing of the province for another four months.

The main purpose of such resolution and the reason it is being enforced with such stubborn persistence is to annul the currently binding UN Security Council Resolution 1244 which reaffirms Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over Kosovo-Metohija province. The second thing it aimed to accomplish was to officially end the UN mandate in Kosovo-Metohija, opening the door for the EU to take over, securing over 1,600 nice & clean administrative jobs for its otherwise entirely unemployable pen-pushers and parasites, while NATO forces would remain in the province.

The 120-days delay, during which Serbs would be expected to submit to another round of fake negotiations with Albanian terrorists, separatists, drug dealers, human traffickers and war criminals, is a smokescreen that was supposed to trick Russia and Serbia into stepping over the edge. Because the new draft also stipulates that, in case Belgrade and Pristina still disagree after four months, as expected, the original Ahtisaari plan of “supervised independence,” i.e. severing of the Serbia’s territory would kick in, as planned some ten or more years ago.

Kostunica: Serbia Won’t Change Its Position

Which prompted Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica to remind the architects of the plan that any draft resolution based on the implementation of Ahtisaari’s plan is doomed to failure, adding that “any attempt to hide the project of the province’s independence behind the idea of putting off the resolution for a few months is unacceptable.”

“Whether tomorrow or within several months, Serbia will with the same and even greater resolve defend its principled policy of the respect of international law, UN Charter and Serbian Constitution,” stressed the Prime Minister.

Kostunica said that if there is good will to talk, new negotiations may begin tomorrow, and it is absolutely unnecessary to adopt a new resolution in order to renew the talks.

“If the aim of a new resolution is to hold new talks but only so as to try and squeeze through Kosovo’s postponed independence, I am completely certain the Security Council will reject any such resolution,” said the Prime Minister.

Russia: Stop Trying to Fool Us

Seeing through another Western smoke-and-mirrors act, Russia has rejected the new U.S./EU draft resolution in the UN today.

“We will not work on this draft,” the Russian UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin said. “We continue to maintain our position stated in the document that is sitting on the UN Security Council’s table.”

“The new draft of the Kosovo resolution brings us no closer to a platform that could be used to reach an agreement,” the diplomat said, adding that it was still a positive step because it showed that the West agreed with the necessity to continue talks on the issue of the southern Serbian province.

Russia’s permanent UN representative pointed out that the Security Council finds itself in such a complicated situation because of the “promises given many years ago and recently repeated” which, according to Ambassador Churkin, “certainly isn’t helping us reach the just and sustainable solution.”

Serbian government welcomed Russia’s decision to reject the new Western draft resolution on Kosovo-Metohija province.

“This is the continuation of a principled policy and cooperation between Belgrade and Moscow, based on the respect for international law and the UN Charter,” said Media Advisor to the Serbian Prime Minister Srdjan Djuric.

Shameless Liars, Thieves and Thugs — Please Keep Them

The very moment

Lying, Conniving, Despicable Thugs West Loves

“This is how Albanians are. They lie.”

That’s what an Albanian told Canadian reporter Nancy Durham in response to her complete shock after realizing she was royally duped by the Albanian KLA (UCK) members during their terror-war for secession of Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province.

Working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Nancy was eager to cover Albanian supposedly valiant “freedom struggle” against the Serbs up-close and personal. In southern Serbian province, she met an 18-year-old Albanian girl who told the Canadian journalist she hates the Serbs who killed her 8-year-old, no 7, actually, 6-year-old little sister and ethnically cleansed her family, chasing them over the border into Albania and burning not only her family house, but her entire village. The way Nancy’s new friend Rajmonda ‘fought’ was to flirt with Serbian police officers at the lonely checkpoints and then give the signal to her KLA-buddies to swoop down and carve them up.

As Nancy’s heart-wrenching story about the young Albanian heroine fighting to avenge murder of her little sister — a crime so vicious, not even a grave where her tiny body was dumped is known — traveled the world, conveniently helping to paint the Serbs in more shades of black, rousing public wrath throughout, the Canadian reporter learned everything was a lie: 18-year-old Albanian “freedom fighter” joined KLA terrorists earlier than she told her initially and only because she hates Serbs with an irrational, inexplicable hatred since they have never caused any harm to her or to her family. Her 8-year-old sister was alive and well after the war and greeted Nancy at the doorsteps of Rajmonda’s family house in Kosovo-Metohija from which her parents never left and which was neither dynamited, nor burned or damaged.

“This is how Albanians are. They lie.”

Ocean of Lies

But the story of Canadian reporter is no more than a drop in the ocean of lies. In fact, everything, from rivers of mock-refugees pouring out of Serbian province (and then pouring back in through Albania, so they can pour out again, for as long as needed) during NATO bombardment of Serbia, through non-existent rape camps or “mass-rapes”, non-existent mass graves or mass-killings, non-existent ethnic cleansing and non-existent genocide, down to constant filling of southern Serbian province with illegal Albanian immigrants in order to decisively change the ethnic structure of the province and effect its severing from Serbia — everything is a big fat lie.

It is a lie U.S.-led NATO fed and ordered, and the massive scam Western mainstream media welcomed and perpetuated; that is why it was so successful. It is also the reason Nancy Durham should not have worried so much — no one was really interested in her retractions, no Western mainstream media outlet wanted to publish her story about lying, conniving, dishonest and scheming Kosovo Albanians, because that was certainly not the kind of story she was sent for.

Uncovering the Massive Western/Albanian Fraud Sealed the Fate of Serbian TV Station

When Serbian officials attempted to show that the same individuals can be seen among the Albanian refugees streaming from Kosovo-Metohija province, passing the borders many times over, they were not only booed and laughed at, but also accused of a fascistic coldheartedness, having no feelings for the poor Albanians being “ethnically cleansed” by the Serbian forces. No one from the West was willing to even look into the evidence Serbs were offering.

When Serbs tried to warn that foreign al-Qaeda mujahedeens are being infiltrated into the Albanian terrorist KLA units (armed and trained by the Americans and Brits, by the way) over the Albanian border and that official armed forces from the neighboring Albania are also attacking Serbian troops in Kosovo-Metohija in an attempt of invasion by the ground troops, under the mighty cover of NATO, they were cut off and prohibited from ever speaking up in the Western media.

When Serbs produced piles of falsified Yugoslav ID cards and passports used by the Albanians from Albania and by the Middle Eastern jihadists acting as Yugoslav citizens and Kosovo-Metohija refugees, the Serbian national TV station was bombed. Even among those valiant and rare Western reporters who refused to buy the whole package as served by the CNN, BBC and the rest, there is still the wrong perception lingering that Serbian TV was bombed because it mocked Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright and other such fine U.S. representatives, that 16 Serbian TV workers were killed because Clinton’s ego was hurt.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Serbian TV was razed because it was uncovering the massive Western/Albanian fraud taking place in and around Kosovo-Metohija province — that, not images of Bill Clinton with Hitler’s mustache, has sealed the fate of Serbian television.

Rude Awakenings — Expect More to Follow

Those who have bought the whole lie are nowadays forced to sift through the consequences, getting a grip on reality after almost two decades of mindless romanticizing and shedding crocodile tears over Albanian liars, thieves and thugs. Most ordinary Americans were unpleasantly surprised to learn that those they were “rescuing” from Serbs would turn around to plot an attack on Fort Dix Army base, aiming to “kill as many American soldiers as possible,” the very U.S. Army base that took them in as refugees eight years ago. The Swiss were similarly shocked when they learned two boys (age 11 and 13!) from the family of Albanian Kosovo refugees raped a 5-year-old girl, only to be excused by their mother who blamed the monstrous pathology of her sons on the Kosovo-Metohija war — in other words, that too is somehow the Serbs’ fault.

This is what happens when media helps invent the “news”, instead of limiting its activities to reporting it — sooner or later the whole carefully knitted-in yarn starts to unravel, leaving embarrassing loose ends sticking all over the place.

Presidential Watch Stolen During the Staged Spontaneity

Take the latest example, manufacturing the wonderfully friendly, fervently pro-American face of the Muslim Albania whose officials were all too happy to host Bin Laden himself few years back, for the purpose of Bush’s visit. The exhilarated crowd hugging the American president in the Albanian village Fushe Kruje was far from what it seemed, to begin with:

From what we learned from local sources, with the exception of a few kids from Fushe Kruje, only few real peasants were among those whom the President met ‘spontaneously.’ Most were Albanian government officials (ministers and their families and high functionaries), all carefully selected and who passed a security clearance by the American Embassy in Tirana, and a security check with special garrets before entering the highly-secured area where the President would ‘spontaneously’ break the protocol and mix with the crowd totaling not more than a couple of hundred. Reportedly, some American Secret Service agents were also dispersed in the crowd dressed as Albanian peasants. This explains why, although the ‘crowd’ was physically touching the President, his bodyguards next to him did not look worried at all. However, despite the carefully selected ‘peasants’ and the countless Secret Service agents, the watch was gone.

Let me help: those with teeth are not Albanian. And, despite the embarrassment of the U.S. President and his Secret Service over the presidential-watch theft, resulting in staunch denials repeatedly issued by the White House and George Bush personally, the fact remains that the watch was stolen and has even made a very brief appearance in an eBay ad, only to be taken off the internet the very next day. According to some sources, it was immediately bought back by the White House itself — when you don’t want to tell the truth and persist in perpetuating the lies, you have to do a lot of damage-control afterwards.

Fake Albanian Refugees Swamped Britain: Please Keep Them!

Presently, however, it is British Home Office’s turn to face the music:

The Home Office is targeting Albanians who claimed to be victims of the war in Kosovo.

According to the Daily Mail’s sister paper, the Evening Standard, more than 80,000 refugees settled in Britain when Nato expelled Serbian forces from the province amid accusations of “ethnic cleansing” in 1999.

Now the Home Office has evidence that many were not refugees fleeing the war but economic migrants from neighbouring Albania who adopted fake Kosovar identities to claim asylum.

But “this is how Albanians are. They lie.”

And as the Western love affair with Albanians deepens, despite the fact Albanians are revealing more of their true nature in their adoptive homes, in the Balkans Albanians haven’t moved an inch away from the worst possible reputation of a cockroach-nation that tends to spread like a biblical plague.

Kindly keep them.

Croats Can’t Help Their Ustasha Nostalgia

Marko Perkovic
Marko Perkovic Thompson was helping resurrected Ustashi led by Franjo Tudjman and Stipe Mesic cleanse Croatia and Bosnia of Serbs once again during the 1990s. Ustasha Thompson is supported by the Croat Roman Catholic church which allowed him what they allegedly don’t — to divorce; Croat RC priest tried to organize his concert in Sarajevo in April of 2007.

Croat Parliamentarians and Minister of Education Plunge Into Zagreb Ustasha Fest

The Simon Wiesenthal Center today expressed its sense of outrage and disgust in the wake of a massive show of fascist salutes, symbols and uniforms at a rock concert by popular ultra-nationalist Croatian singer “Thompson” attended by 60,000 people in Zagreb last night.

In a letter sent today to Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, the Center’s chief Nazi-hunter Israel director Dr. Efraim Zuroff noted the presence of Croatian dignities, including the Minister of Science, Education and Sports, at the event and called for the banning of concerts by singers like Thompson who glorify fascism and racism.

The letter states:

“According to the Croatian media, the concert turned into a massive fascist demonstration with tens of thousands of people shouting the infamous Ustasha salute of ‘Za dom spremni.’ In addition,… numerous participants came wearing Ustasha uniforms and symbols. To make matters worse, in attendance last night were officials and members of Parliament, as well as the Minister of Science, Education [!!] and Sports.”

“Under the current circumstances, I believe that the time has come to prohibit public concerts by those who write songs of nostalgia for Jasenovac and inspire the show of Ustasha symbols, which constitute open and blatant incitement against all the minorities in Croatia,” writes Wiesenthal Center Director.

“I believe that only if someone of your stature and outstanding anti-fascist credentials will lead the efforts to combat this ugly wave of revived fascism, can this extremely dangerous new trend be stopped before it engulfs Croatia.”

Stjepan Mesic Wrong Person to Complain To

For some reason, Dr Zuroff seems unaware that Mesic’s beloved uncle was Ustasha and that Stipe Mesic’s record during the decades after the WWII is everything but “anti-fascist.” In fact, like any red-bloodied Ustasha, Croat president has asked to have “no Serbs” anywhere around or near him for the duration of his last presidential visit to Austria. According to Tanjug, Austrians were dully accommodating and responded to Mesic’s sensitivities by giving all the Serb employees few days off.

Croat RC Priest Organizer of Thompson’s Concerts and his Greatest Fan

Couple of months earlier, Ustasha Fest by the same Croat Nazi Thompson was canceled in Sarajevo, after the Association of Bosnia-Herzegovina camp prisoners, Bosnian Serbs and the local Jewish community condemned the announced concert by Marko Perkovic. Simon Wiesanthal Center Director Efraim Zuroff supported their stance:

“The question is this: what is he going to sing about? Killing Serbs, killing Muslims? I don’t see why a person like that should be welcome in Sarajevo or anywhere for that matter,” Zuroff said, adding that Thompson does not do Croatia credit.

The organizer of the concert, Don Anto Jelic of the Croatian Roman Catholic Charity Society, was embittered by Zuroff’s statements:

“I think such statements are malevolent. Let him prove that Thompson ever sang against Serbs, Muslims or Jews,” said Croat Roman Catholic priest Don Jelic in April this year, adding that he had not heard a recording of Thompson singing the notorious “Jasenovac and Gradiska Stara” song, and telling Croat media that the question about that song should be put to Thompson.

Travesty, By John Laughland

Milosevic's Trial Travesty, book by John Lauglhland

Travesty: The Trial of Slobodan Milosevic and the Corruption of International Justice by John Laughland

Buy this book at Amazon.com

Book review by Tara McCormack, a doctoral student researching post-Cold War security theory at the University of Westminster. Earlier review by the Spectator’s Anthony Daniels available here.

The vast majority of what passes for analysis of the Yugoslav break-up and wars, and later events such as the establishment of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), is marked by a blatant disregard for either evidence or accuracy. In stark contrast, John Laughland’s excellent book on the ICTY and the trial of Slobodan Milosevic is a powerful critique based upon a detailed analysis of both the procedures and rules governing the ICTY in general, and Milosevic’s trial in particular.

Utter Arbitrary Lawlessness

It is difficult to do justice to the utter arbitrary lawlessness of the ICTY. In the first place, the ICTY is not a court as is generally understood nor can it be compared to apparently similar bodies like the International Court of Justice. The ICTY is an explicitly prosecutorial institution, in which the Office of the Prosecutor is part of the Tribunal and is set up, in its own words, for the ‘sole purpose of prosecuting persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia’.

Laughland shows us an institution staffed by judges who often have little experience of criminal law, let alone international criminal law. For example, American judge Gabrielle Kirk Macdonald was amazed to be asked to serve on the ICTY. When she protested that she did not know anything about international war crimes, she was told that that was immaterial and that she would learn. We can only speculate as to how much experience British judge Richard May (who presided over Milosevic’s trial) garnered in international criminal law and international relations from his experiences as a crown court judge on the Midland and Oxford Circuit. Other judges have been entirely without any kind of judicial experience but have been law professors, legal advisers or even, in the case of the Turkish judge, a diplomat.

Astonishing though this is, it is perhaps the least shocking aspect of the institution, when considering both the gravity of the charges laid against the defendants and the entirely novel nature of the Tribunal and its aims. The rules of procedure of the ICTY, for example, have been changed every three months since the ICTY was set up. Incredibly, the ICTY judges make the rules themselves, overturning the fundamental distinction between a judicial and a legislative role. ICTY judges are in essence making international law. Furthermore, the Tribunal is a pick and mix patchwork of the two main systems of law, the adversarial system and the inquisitorial system, overturning, as Laughland points out, the checks and balances inherent in each system.

ICTY Would Make Stalin Blush

The rules of procedure of the ICTY would have made Stalin blush. The processes of the ICTY are in effect a rejection of everything that differentiates law from arbitrary rule. Secret indictments are used, hearsay evidence is often permitted and the fundamental legal principle of ‘no crime without a law’ - ie, that an act should not be made a crime after the event - is overturned. Anonymous witnesses are commonplace, contravening the fundamental principle of criminal law that the accused has a right to know who the witness is and to cross-examine them. The ICTY also overturns the ‘double jeopardy’ principle, whereby one may not be tried for the same crime twice. The ICTY allows the prosecutor to appeal against the acquittal of a defendant who has been found innocent and to obtain their continued detention. These procedures contravene existing international conventions, such as the European Convention on Human Rights, and the ICTY’s own statute (1).

In order to prosecute Milosevic, the ICTY relied upon a legal principle which it had invented on the hoof, that of ‘joint criminal enterprise’. This concept does not appear in the ICTY statute nor anywhere else, nor even in the original ‘indictments’ of Milosevic. As I have argued previously on spiked, this novel principle essentially allows the ICTY to convict someone in the absence of any evidence whatsoever (2). Although the prosecution had originally issued three ‘indictments’ of Milosevic (regarding Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo), this was then changed into a sort of ‘super’ indictment. Here, the prosecution attempted to make the political case that Milosevic had orchestrated a vast ‘joint criminal enterprise’, beginning in Croatia and concluding in Kosovo, to create a ‘Greater Serbia’. In keeping with the general ad hoc procedures of the ICTY, this idea of ‘Greater Serbia’ had not featured in the original separate indictments.

Indictments for President Milosevic Based on BBC Documentaries

The idea of a ‘joint criminal enterprise’ was based primarily on BBC documentaries and misquoting Milosevic’s speeches. The prosecution’s own star witnesses — including employees of the Office of the Prosecutor — failed to offer any proof of such a conspiracy. The trial spent a lot of time listening to anonymous witnesses who could shed no light on who might have committed the alleged crimes or who could only offer hearsay evidence. Finally, after three years of the trial and to the shock even of the ICTY judges, the prosecutor, Geoffrey Nice, was forced to admit that Milosevic had never even used the words ‘Greater Serbia’. The decision to continue the trial after the resignation (on grounds of ill-health) of Judge May, the imposition of defence counsel on Milosevic against his will and, when Milosevic was ill, trial in absentia, are all aspects of what Laughland calls the fundamental lawlessness of the Tribunal. Milosevic’s death brought an end to the farce, which was surely a relief to those running the ICTY.

Laughland’s book is excellent for his critique and analysis of the ICTY and Milosevic’s trial in itself, but he also engages with broader shifts in post-Cold War international relations. For example, Laughland examines the erosion of the fundamental distinction between war and crime. The idea that war, as the act of a state, should be viewed in political rather than moral terms has increasingly been called into question in much post-Cold War security theory and international security policy. Laughland also highlights the dangerous implications of ethics and morality as a basis for international relations.

Laughland tackles some crucial theoretical questions. He argues, for example, that state sovereignty, as properly understood, clarifies and renders accountable the exercise of power (3). This is particularly problematic when the criminal justice system is detached from the state. As Laughland points out, the ICTY is in no way accountable to the people over whom it claims jurisdiction in the way that a normal legislative system, however bad, would be.

Trial By the Unaccountable and Non-Existent ‘International Community’

Laughland shows that the common argument that the ICTY is a continuation of Nuremberg and existing international law is false. In the first place, this ignores the central charge of Nuremberg, ‘aggressive war’ (as also codified in the UN Charter). Furthermore, Laughland points out a more important and crucial difference between Nuremberg and the ICTY: whilst the ICTY is established in the name of an unaccountable and non-existent ‘international community’ and international morality, the Nuremberg trials were grounded in the explicit assumption of sovereignty over Germany by the Allied powers. Nuremberg was a highly problematic entity. Nonetheless, the lines of both responsibility and accountability were clearly drawn at Nuremberg, something that cannot be said about the ICTY.

While there are some points on which I would disagree with him — for example, I don’t think there is an all-powerful, crusading and ideological supra-nationalism at work today — these are largely tangential to Laughland’s central argument. Travesty is a powerfully argued book based upon compelling analysis that should be widely read.

Apparently entirely unaware of breaking their own records in arrogance and cynicism, U.S. State Department’s Daniel Fried, being most concerned with rounding off Clinton’s legacy and fulfilling Clinton-Albright-Holbrooke promises given to the Albanian separatists in Serbian Kosovo province prior to the 1999 U.S.-led NATO aggression on Serbia, insists that “an independent Kosovo is in Serbia’s best interest.”

Serbian Minister Aleksandar Popovic immediately responded, saying it is high time for Fried to stop attempting to define Serbia’s interests, if he really wants to keep good relations between Serbia and U.S., as he claims.

As a U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Fried ought to be aware that Serbia is a sovereign state which defines its own national and state interests independently, said Minister Popovic.

Unilateral Moves Would Annul Resolution 1244, Giving Serbia More Room to Respond

Serbia’s state secretary in the Kosovo-Metohija Ministry Dusan Prorokovic said Serbia will not idly sit by, but will respond to the possible unilateral declaration of independence.

In case Albanian separatists in Kosovo province proclaim independence and some states recognize it, then the Resolution 1244 will be practically scrapped. And if that UN Security Council resolution gets annulled with the unilateral moves, then we are legally and formally back in the June of 1999, before the Kumanovo agreement was signed. Serbian government would then have the right to react the same way it would respond to any other secessionist movement on the territory of Serbia, said Minister Prorokovic.

Full Autonomy — All Albanian Minority Can Ever Get

Minister Zoran Loncar told Tanjug that the American government will have to get used to the painful fact that it is not United States, but the UN Security Council that is in charge of solving the internal issues of relations between the nations living in Kosovo-Metohija.

“Being that the American administration has special relations with Albanians, it would be very good if they were to use their influence to suggest to Albanians they should forget the idea of making a second state for themselves on the territory of Serbia,” said Loncar, adding that “the full autonomy is the maximum Albanian minority can ever get in Kosovo-Metohija province.”

New Talks — Yes, Independence — No

Serbia Rejects Another Round of Fake Negotiations With Predetermined Outcome

According to Tanjug, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, in talks with Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D’Alema on Friday rejected a proposal that Belgrade and Pristina resume negotiations that would result in the independence of Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province.

The Italian Foreign Minister during a surprise visit to southern Serbian province and Belgrade proposed that the negotiations on the future status of Kosovo and Metohija between Belgrade and Pristina continue with a limited time-frame, with the ultimate goal that Kosovo should become an independent state, the Serbian government Press Relations Office announced.

Prime Minister Kostunica rejected the proposal that the new negotiating process should in any way be conditioned with the acceptance of the independence of Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija.

Serbia’s Territorial Integrity Non-Negotiable

Kostunica stressed that Serbia will not negotiate the independence of its province, because any form of independence would present the most flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter, UN Security Council Resolution 1244, and the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.

Serbian Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia has launched a completely different initiative for new talks, and thus expressed clear readiness to take constructive part in the finding of a compromise solution that would be based on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, the statement said.

Reacting to today’s statements by special US envoy Ambassador Frank Wiesner and Italian Deputy Prime Minister Massimo D’Alema, Kostunica told reporters that negotiations with a set outcome are not negotiations at all. This is why, the Prime Minister added, I have rejected such an offer also during the talks with D’Alema.

Emphasizing that Serbia wants to discuss a compromise solution that would range within the framework of the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 1244, Serbian Premier said:

“The talks with the predetermined outcome are not negotiations and we will do everything to use all the arguments Serbia has to search for a reasonable and understandable solution — without changing the borders, by respecting the territorial integrity of existing states and, within that, to resolve the issue of relations between the nations living in Kosovo and Metohija.”

Serbia’s President Boris Tadic also told the Italian official that independence of Kosovo-Metohija was unacceptable for Serbia, and pointed to the need that the negotiations on future status of southern Serbian province be continued so that a compromise solution, acceptable for both sides, could be found, the President’s Office for Media Relations said in a statement.

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic had the exact same message for his Italian counterpart, that Serbia was urging for a sustainable and compromise solution for the status of Kosovo and Metohija province, whereby the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia will be preserved.

Wiesner: We Must Have the Legal Precedent (If We’re Going to Continue Carving Up the World as We See Fit)

In an attempt to comfort and calm the bloodthirsty Albanian separatists in Kosovo-Metohija, United States envoy for Kosovo province Frank Wiesner also ran to Pristina on Friday. He told the new U.S. allies that further negotiations between Serbs and Kosovo Albanians on Kosovo and Metohija are possible, thus indicating another postponement in the resolving of the issue of the future status of Serbian province.

Talks covered a possible solution that would include a period of additional talks on the status, Wiesner told reporters after a meeting with leaders of Kosovo Albanian separatists, but pointed out that there were no conclusions about this yet.

According to Wiesner, further negotiations would be aimed at proving that all attempts at securing an agreement on the status have been exhausted. “It is important to secure independence through a resolution of the UN Security Council,” Wiesner said. In other words they NEED the legal precedent and are willing to entertain the Serbs and Russians with more mock-negotiations in order to get the UN SC resolution that will allow them to do the same wherever they want.

Wiesner appealed to Kosovo Albanian thugs to stay calm and “disciplined” (?!): “The process of acquiring independence is taking longer than Kosovo Albanians or the US would want,” he said. “However, it is important that the independence should be a result of a Security Council resolution which will pave the way to recognition and open doors to Kosovo’s admission to NATO and the European Union,” Wiesner said in Pristina.

“We Won’t Give Kosovo Away”

Meanwhile, the extra-chatty U.S. Ambassador in Serbia Michael Polt, who seems to take special joy in telling Serbs, young and old, their country will be carved up, remained uncharacteristically silent when Serbian refugees from Kosovo-Metohija province gathered outside his doors Friday.

Members of the Association of the Families of the Kidnapped and Killed in Kosovo-Metohija and Serbian refugees from the province have gathered outside the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, sending a message to American President Bush they “will not allow him to create another state for Albanians on the territory of Serbia, through genocide and ethnic cleansing of Serbs.”

“If you wish to be generous, give California and Texas to your Albanian friends,” said the President of the Association Simo Spasic, reminding that Kosovo-Metohija is the cradle of Serbian state and stressing that the so-called international community, KFOR and UNMIK have done nothing in nine years to tell the truth about Serbian victims.

Spasic emphasized that “all of the Western countries that are so eager to sever Kosovo-Metohija from Serbia, allegedly in the name of justice and human rights, must determine the fate of the missing and kidnapped Serbs,” and that the Albanian war criminals Ceku, Haradinaj and Taci must be tried for the atrocities committed over Serbs and other non-Albanians in Serbian province.

According to the organizers, the protest was a reaction to the “continuous statements of the Western representatives that Kosovo-Metohija will be independent, and especially in response to President Bush’s statements in Tirana, where he promised another state to Albanians on the Serbian territory.”

Michael Polt Unwelcome in Serbia

Delegation representing the Association and Serbian refugees has attempted to deliver a protest letter to the American embassy officials, but the embassy doors remained firmly closed, so the letter for the U.S. President and representatives was left at the gate.

The most prominent banner carried by the demonstrators was “NATO — UCK — UNMIK — killed the Serbs, stole Kosovo.” Ambassador Polt was told he is a persona non grata in Serbia, and the protesters chanted “We Won’t Give Kosovo Away” and “Kosovo is Serbia.”

Nazi War Criminal Kurt Waldheim Dead

“A great Austrian,” Waldheim (fourth from left) in Podgorica, Montenegro, in 1943 with Artur Phleps, the commander of the Nazi SS Division Prinz Eugen, formed in Serbian Vojvodina initially to fight Serbian Chetnik guerrillas.

Nazi War Criminal Dies After Rich Career At the Top of the World

“Waldheim - how his friends would prefer that they didn’t read these words this morning - was based at a town called Banja Luka, a market town where Serbs and Jews and communist Croatians were murdered en masse, hanged like thrushes from mass gallows or raped to death in the nearby Jasenovac extermination camp. Waldheim would have us believe that he knew nothing of all this, that he was a mere intelligence officer for Army Group E of the Wehrmacht, whose commander, Löhr, just happened to be tried for war crimes after the Second World War” — writes Robert Fisk in today’s Independent.

As Waldheim’s compatriots mourn the loss of “a great Austrian,” lowering the flags outside the presidential palace in Vienna to half-staff, among the Serbs, former Austrian president and UN Secretary-General “will be remembered primarily as a Nazi officer involved in atrocities against Serbs and Jews in western Bosnia,” writes Nebojsa Malic, reminding that Waldheim was a “war criminal who not only ‘escaped justice’ but eventually rose to the highest office of the UN, the very organization which later (overstepping its already generously broad mandate) established the illegal ‘tribunal’ for political persecution of Balkans leaders,” overwhelmingly of Serbian ethnicity.

Kurt Waldheim was an embodiment of Western injustice and duplicity, the representative of a self-styled Aryan Race that seized the uncontested right to reign, destroy and hold judgment over the “lesser races” of Slavs and Jews, among others, treating them as savages in need of an Enlightened Master who’ll pillage their resources and wealth, while rooting them out one way or the other — nowadays in a more “civilized,” politically correct manner, by crushing their spirits, humiliating and starving them at the doorsteps of the Aryan Empire.

U.S. Mainstream Far More Dangerous Than Totalitarian States’ Press

Commenting the CNN-AP obituaries to “a great Austrian,” Carl Savich said:

They did it again. Like with the “Albanian” vs. “Yugoslav” controversy over Fort Dix Six, the US mainstream media manipulates the facts to cover-up the actual context. In the obituary for Kurt Waldheim, they say that he was involved in the Kozara operation that killed “23,000 children”. They leave out that the 23,000 children killed were Serbian. They also leave out that the 68,000 people killed were almost all Serbian. Again, when convenient for propaganda purposes, the victims are “Yugoslav”.

Also left out is the fact that the Kozara operation was conducted with Croatian Ustasha forces, a genocidal ultra-nationalist regime and ally of Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler. After the war, the US helped the Croatian war criminals escape prosecution for genocide and war crimes in the Ratlines.

In 1991, a resurgent Croatia became a proxy and ally of the US. The new Croatia revived the Ustasha past.

This is just another example of how the US media is in many ways far more dangerous than the one in totalitarian states. The mainstream media is brainwashing us and manipulating us and we don’t even know it.

California Will Be Independent Too

Russia To Grant Independence to California

According to some sources, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during a Wednesday press conference in Sweden, threatened the breakup of the United States by stating that an American unilateral recognition of Kosovo as an independent state could prompt Russia to do the same for California “should they request it.”

Sorcha Faal claims Foreign Minister Lavrov’s “stunning comments were said to be in response to President Bush’s declaration on Kosovo, and as we can read as reported by Pakistan’s Daily Times News Service in their article titled ‘US ready for showdown with Russia on Kosovo independence’.”

Foreign Minister Lavrov’s equating of the United States State of California with Kosovo does appear to be apt, as like the breakaway Serbia Province being controlled by Muslim Gangs, California is, likewise, controlled by Mexican Gangs, with the
