Serbs Ready for All

Kostunica: We’ll Be Ready
Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica told the press today Serbian government is weighing various options in case Albanian separatists were to resort to illegal declaration of independence of Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province.
“If someone inflicts damage upon you, then you, according to the circumstances and the situation, must respond in kind, inflicting back some damage as well,” said Kostunica.
“This is the only way to preserve the state’s integrity and something that can be described as the dignity of the state and each citizen,” Beta news agency quoted Serbian Premier.
Speaking in a news conference at the seat of the government in Belgrade Thursday Kostunica did not elaborate on the kind of damage he had in mind. He also declined to specify what such a reaction to a Kosovo status settlement process that would be unfavorable to Serbia might entail, saying only it would be “within what constitutes for usual reaction in such situations.”
Radicals: Bring it On!
Deputy president of the Serbian Radical Party Tomislav Nikolic warned Tuesday that “a country that has its territory snatched away might go to war.”
“Whenever a country is forcibly stripped of its territory, there is always a danger a war might break out,” Nikolic told the Vecernje Novosti daily.
According to Tomislav Nikolic, his party—one with the most voters in Serbia—will ask the government to break off diplomatic ties with any country that would choose to recognize the Serbian province’s amputation.
FYROM Shiptars Arm and Mobilize Four Macedonian Villages Bordering Serbian Kosovo Province
Vecernje Novosti also ran today’s news about the “mobilization” of Albanian terrorists that have seized villages in neighboring FYR of Macedonia.
According to the Belgrade daily’s sources, the Macedonian villages of Tanusevci, Brest, Malina Mala and Gosnice, populated only with Albanians, which are bordering with Serbian Kosovo region have been mobilized since Wednesday. Contrasting the routinely soothing statements by the Skoplje officials, Macedonian opposition is alarmed by the fact that the country’s security forces are not controlling the entire territory of the state.
Skoplje media informed on Thursday that “the military style mobilization” has been taking place in the mountainous region near the border with Serbian Kosovo province. Local Shiptars (Albanians) claim that every attempt of the Macedonia’s security forces to enter the region will be greeted with the attack, repeating the threats issued earlier by the Albanian terrorist leader from Macedonian village of Tanusevci.
“Setting up a referendum for the secession of these villages and their adjoining Kosovo is a reality,” said Shaqiri.
He also claimed that the “mobilized forces” are entirely prepared, trained and with the sufficient number of men and weapons required for the “successful guerrilla war.”
“The mobilization was completed in only few hours. I am not threatening anyone, but I want to be taken seriously. Any units that enter this region will be efficiently and quickly defeated, regardless if they are followed by the tanks or helicopters,” warned Shiptar terrorist leader from Macedonia, Shaqiri.
The World War Three Stage is Set
Coupled with yesterday’s threats by another Albanian terrorist from southern Serbian province who accused four Balkan states, Montenegro, Serbia, FYR of Macedonia and Greece, of “occupying” Albanians, and went on to openly declare their goal of establishing Greater Albania by seizing land from these states, the stage for World War Three seems to be all set.
The only question that remains open is what will the American State Department do (since the rest of the West that hides under the lofty “international community” title appears to be resigned to merely tag along Burns-Fried duo): will they once again side with the fascistic bunch of thugs, criminals and cutthroats they have been aligned with for the past two decades, will they sit on the sidelines and let the war flames engulf all of the Balkans and Europe one more time, or will they change the current perilous course and find enough moral strength to finally say ‘No’ to the roaches they’ve been nursing all these years?

Their Boasts look like bluffs to me because if they do not have NATO acting as their air force they couldn't conquer a pile of dung let alone sever pieces of four sovereign nations simultaneously.
In any case NATO isn't in any position to open up a third battle front, after Iraq and Afghanistan and perhaps soon Iran. The United States have lost their teeth to a great degree, the Europeans do not look like they are willing to risk the manpower especially if Russia decides to turn the lever. The Germans will be the first to go *click click click* Mein Power!" ver ist mein juice? Bah forget dos albaniens vi neid to heat our homes Russia pleaz vi promis to bi gut.

Svetlana asks: "The only question that remains open is what will the American State Department do....?"
I wouldn't count on any sudden emergence of morality and accompanying subordination of treachery on the part of the US State Dept or Bush administration. They are the enemies not only of Christian Serbia, Greece and Eastern Europe but also of the United States itself and are heavily invested in the "fools quest" for a greater albania. However, Bush and his state dept "toadies' are probably counting on Serbia to roll over and play dead and not prepared to commit troops to a ground war in Kosovo. I doubt KFOR will do anything more than run and hide if things get rough.
It appears the cut throats are seriously planning to start something not only with Serbia but also Montenegro, Macedonia and Greece. They may be handing the infidels the excuse they need to annihilate islamofascism in the balkans once and for all. A highly desirable outcome. Hopefully there is communication and coordination between the Serb, Greek, Macedonian and Montenegran militarys on this issue. It would be great if Russia sent a few brigades...some of those with combat experience in Chechnya.

My guess is that the US Administration sees another conflict in the Balkans as the only way out of the impasse. Isolated local wars were seldom America's success stories and the current situation in Iraq attests to that however, should the US be successful in igniting a wider conflict without being seen as the force behind it then her superpower status will have the advantage. Conflict of that magnitude would be a double whammy for the America's sagging fortunes by providing it with the opportunity to get out of the quagmires and realize its dreams of world domination. How well will that calculation work remains to be seen but there is enough reason to believe that, that is the card they are going to play.

The mind boggles... the Albanians in Kosovo come from a standpoint that they were militarily successful against the Serbs during the 98/99 conflict. The reason why the 40000 armed troops and police left Kosovo was due to NATO bombing... that's all. The only reason they can throw their weight around is because their overlord, NATO, is watching. Not only could Serbia, alone, invade and smash any armed Albanian resistance in Kosovo they could go further and invade Albania itself. The Albanians in Kosovo could only offer token resistance.
The Albanian's main argument is that they are 90% of the population in Kosovo. This is true but they are a minority in Serbia. The Kosovo province is part of Serbia and when you take statistics from the total population they are the minority.
The only reason this situation exists is because a resurgent Russia and the West are playing for control of Europe all over again. Not militarily but energy-wise. Resources have become the major issue of recent times and Russia with significant natural resources is aiming to make Europe dependant on them. Kosovo is a geopolitical pawn in this game.
If only the West had supported Serbia in 98/99. The Albanian Kosovo problem would have been solved and Milosevic would have been gone as well - through other means.
There already exists a country for Albanians in Europe and it's called Albania. We don't need another Albanian state in Europe.

Not only would the Kosovo problem been solved had the US and the NATO not intervened but it would not have reached the point of armed conflict in first place. Kosovo Albanians would have sat as quietly as mice prepared to be grateful for what they already had. The West used Milosevic by first calling him a stabilizing force in the Balkans then not only dumping him but piling on him everything he didn't do. It only proves that the whole sorry affair was planned in advance and the US needed enemies for which the Serbs were the chosen ones.
The present day scenario, in the aftermath of the aggression, is pointing at many serious miscalculations the Western strategists have made. One of which is the failure to put limitations on their pets in Kosovo and found themselves having to justify the craziest madness the modern world has imagined even possible. Observers and states that would have otherwise remained on the fence have suddenly realized that their indifference may have some grave after-effects and pave the way for finding themselves in the same situation in the near future. It was the behind the scenes developments that have tipped the scales away from the Western sphere of influence and made it hard for them to maintain the projected picture of "Humanitarians". The chain reaction is close to becoming an avalanche and the US is desperately searching for ways to salvage its position in the world. There appears to be tendency, amongst the think-tanks in Washington, to accept the theory that a much wider military confrontation is the answer and the first step is to convince the American public that this is the do-or-die scenario which in turn should secure the blank cheque from the Congress. Some frightening developments are in the making that, have, enormous implications for the entire humanity.
