Serbia Will Not Join NATO

NATO has been Serbed

NO to NATO

Premier Kostunica’s ruling democratic party, DSS (Democratic Party of Serbia), has joined the strongest Serbian party, Radicals, in rejecting the country’s membership in North-Atlantic military alliance.

The party presidency has adopted a program proposal supporting the country’s Partnership for Peace (PfP) membership, but rejecting the membership in NATO itself.

...Unless Citizens Bombed by NATO Wish to Join the Aggressor

“We believe that no one has the right to make decision on Serbia joining any military alliance without the consent of its citizens. This kind of issue will have to be a subject of a referendum, where the citizens will decide,” reads the proposed document sent on Monday to the main board, scheduled to meet on September 15, while the party general assembly will have the last word on the document as it convenes on October 14.

The document also lists the political principles and goals that will guide Serbia’s leading democrats, like preservation of the country’s territorial integrity with Kosovo and Metohija province as its integral part, employment and struggle against poverty, improving the political program of demographic development, rooting out corruption in all segments of society, as well as Serbia’s integration into the EU.

According to its new program, Democratic Party of Serbia considers the state sovereignty inalienable on entire territory of Serbia and no part of the state territory can be taken out of the whole, just like it cannot be exchanged with any other state without the consent of Serbia’s population.

“In line with this principle, Kosovo and Metohija which is currently under the temporary UN administration, remains the integral and inalienable part of our country,” says the document.

According to Serbian press, beside the Prime Minister’s DSS and the Radicals (who are opposed to Serbia joining both NATO and EU), Serbia’s Socialist Party and New Serbia are also against the country joining the Western military alliance, while another member of the ruling coalition, G17 Plus, believes the decision should be left to the citizens and reached through a nation-wide referendum.

Just say no to NATO and EU, they stand for injustice, they stand against International Laws and Treaties, at least when it comes to Serbia. Say yes to Russia, they stand for justice and International Laws and treaties, for the first time in modern history as many intellectuals in the west are saying that the role of US and Russia have finally reversed. Russia and UN SCR 1244 recognize that Kosovo is integral part of Serbia, what that means is that Serbia is Kosovo, and Kosovo is Serbia, this is not up for interpretation by the EU or the US.

This is a bad omen for EU, NATO they should have embraced Serbia and rejected secessionists, terrorists; instead they repeat their mistakes from previous world wars WWI and WWII, and the recent fiascos or civil wars of the 1991-1999, by alienating Serbia and embracing secessionists, terrorists they even bombed Serbia on behalf of terrorists and secessionist and they reject UN, and International Laws and Treaties. This could be the least breath of EU and NATO, at least as it exists today, and if the current policy does not change perhaps the Kosovo issue will slowly lead to one more uncontrollable conflict, on the scale of the two previous world wars, Europe failed to learn from its past, while Serbia was forced repeat its role, unwillingly in its bloody past.

Of course politicians from the west will interpret latest development by Serbian Prime Minister Kostunica as a nationalist attempt at bluffing the EU and NATO into changing their course when it comes to Kosovo. They, EU and NATO are making a big mistake by thinking that Serbia will be bullied into giving up Kosovo, or that Serbia will not defend Kosovo sooner or later.

I concur. NATO and EU are organizations which Serbia should keep well away from. One can tell how EU overestimated itself, when they even assumed Serbs will give up Kosovo in exchange to joining Anglo-French clique.

I just read an article stating that Russia is drawing a red line which are non negotiable issues which include the US missile defenses and Kosovo.

Apparently Lavrov stated that if US recognizes Kosovo unliterary, Russia will recognize separatist movements in Georgia.
Georgia being the firm Western ally and keep supporter of both EU and NATO. Oh what a shame.

I also agree -- the EU is not for Serbia. And as for NATO, well that goes without saying. No!
The EU is one of the worst things to have ever happened to Europe. It has either transformed itself or was originally established, who knows, for, apparently, the main purpose of removing borders and sovereignty. Shame on every country that goes into the EU knowing that but valuing some kind of cheap so-called economic advantages over the self-preservation of their state. Furthermore, the free movement of the people from one EU member state to another is just another way for the muslims to take root everywhere they want and not so slowly, but certainly surely, take over completely.

serbia is kosovo i know this because i grew up in kosovo. The western world can say all they want but i know in my heart that it is.
