Tadic: Terrorism in Kosovo Promoted by Albanian-Run Media

According to Tanjug, Serbian President Boris Tadic on Thursday warned Kfor, UNMIK and the international community about the threat of promoting illegal terrorist organizations by the Albanian-language media in Kosovo and Metohija.

Tadic said that “this is a new threat of violence and intimidation of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and an attempt to influence the negotiating process on the future status of Kosovo.”

“I believe that the ethnic Albanian citizens of Kosovo too do not want a repeat of March 17,” Tadic said in a statement.

Prorokovic: Perhaps NATO would Demilitarize the Province, as they Say they Already did

On Wednesday evening, Albanian-run “Kosovo Radio and Television” broadcast footage showing a dozen armed and masked persons in black uniforms bearing the insignia AKSH (ANA) — another KLA/UCK branch of terrorists — who were allegedly filmed by “an independent reporter” near Merdare, close to the administrative border between central Serbia and province of Kosovo.

Former UNMIK Chief Michael Steiner declared ANA a terrorist organization following the 2003 terrorist attack on the Mitrovica - Lesak rail line.

Serbian Secretary of State for Kosovo and Metohija Dusan Prorokovic said on Thursday that the footage showing alleged Albanian terrorist formations in Kosovo province has not been authenticated, but it is UNMNIK and KFOR’s job to take a look into that, since they have assumed the obligation to disarm the terrorists and demilitarize the province, while securing peace in the region.

KFOR Spokesman: NATO will Deal With Illegal Armed Formations

A KFOR (NATO forces deployed in the Serbian province) spokesman on Wednesday denied the existence of armed formations in Kosovo, adding that if there are any armed formations, they would be treated as illegal.

Speaking about a story by the Kosovo Albanian Radio and Television (RTK) which shows armed members of the Albanian National Army (ANA), the spokesman told reporters that the footage shows a group of masked men and that KFOR has no knowledge about the existence of such groups.

If they are noticed, they will be treated as illegal, because KFOR and UNMIK are the sole legal organizations that deal with security issues, the spokesman set out.

He reiterated a recent statement by the KFOR commander that the international military force in southern Serbian province of Kosovo would react in case of violence and that there are plans how to carry that out.

I love your work, Svetlana - and have been an avid reader for some time.

It appall me on every level each time i see the crazed shiptar hordes howling in the streets of Kosmet - but not as much as it appalls me when I hear UNMIK's denials.

Albanians in Kosovo supported by US and UK are not hesitate to play on violence card. Main reason is political games by US that gives them confidence to threaten anybody that they think is against their requests for independence.

Serbia should adopt similar strategy. It should keep all options are on the table. If talks fail, Serbia does not any other viable option than to militarily defend territorial integrity. The sad fact is that US push this way using its stance towards Kosovo independence as a mayor tool for EU’s economy destabilisation.
USA Jews has another more important interest. They want to plant Islam in Europe by any price counting on expanded front in their battle against Muslims and future help from EU countries. This is dirty game where victims are Serbia and EU. Any delay and negotiated solution for Kosovo does not work in favour of USA and Israel (that need EU help against Iran threat). Germany leaders knows that and they are very hesitant in support of illegal Kosovo independence.
Solution could be integration of Serbia in EU (including Kosovo as Serbian territory) on urgent basses, so any turbulence will be clear EU decision without USA and Russia interference.
Off course, getting Serbian support does not going without pays for destroyed economy from illegal bombardment and peoples sufferings caused by EU wrong decisions. Europe is still not ready to accept blame. Anyhow, the price tag is much smaller than in the case of Serbian involvement into militarily engagement on Kosovo to defend its own territory borders. In that case EU risk to be shattered!

Thank you, Boris, I appreciate your support!

The situation is indeed appalling and the hypocrisy of the "internationals" is beyond pale.

"Novosti writes that UNMIK and KFOR forces have received strict orders “not to get involved in conflicts or disagreements with the armed groups and, when they observe them, to abandon their mission and return to their base”.Vecernje Novosti March 10 2007

The UN/NATO are allies with these terrorist scumbags that is why I find it hard to believe that
they would be "treated as illegal"(the whole 99 bombing and occupation was illegal). What does "treated as illegal" even mean? They have orders (NATO/UN)to back down to the kla if they encounter them and they will certainly not go looking for them.
At some point enough is enough and ALL Serbs need to realize the threat we are under and do something.I know people are tired of fighting wars but this is for our existence and we need to protect ourselves.

Thanks for keeping track of things. I'm relaying some of the info (like the 'Undead Ustasha' article) to friends and connections - getting to know Balkans, bit by bit, is the prerequisite for agreeing on fair solutions.

"NATO will Deal With Illegal Armed Formations" - that would be the regular friday night poker game that NATOE regularly loses then? ;) Look at the schtik the Romanians got for dealing with 'civilians' trying to storm the assembly in Prišina.... I think the Romanians will think twice before joining other 'security missions'.
