Wikipedia, the Source of Disinformation
Biggest Internet Fraud: Wikipedia
Couple of weeks ago independent UK journalist and columnist Neil Clark brought up an important issue most internet users who consider Wikipedia a reliable source of information on a whole range of issues, including history and politics, are entirely unaware of — that Wikipedia is infiltrated by the Western secret services which use it to manipulate truth and prevent the inconvenient facts reaching the wider public, by planting their governments’ official versions of events through Wiki articles.
It was Dr. Ludwig De Braeckeleer who first reported about this sobering discovery. He stumbled upon it while researching the material for article regarding a terrorist attack from 1988, only to find that popular online encyclopedia has removed the crucial bits of information from the previous piece, at the same time blocking further edits and removing previous versions of the same article (usually available for comparison).
Free Press? Yeah, Right!
De Braeckeleer writes: “Conducting false flag operations and planting disinformation in the mainstream media have long belonged to the craft of the spies. In the months preceding the 1953 overthrow of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh, U.S. and U.K. intelligence agencies used both techniques abundantly [...] According to clues accumulated by ordinary citizens around the world, it could be that the CIA and other intelligence agencies are riding the information wave and planting disinformation on Wikipedia. If so, tens of thousands of innocent and unwitting citizens around the world are translating and propagating their lies, providing these agencies with a universal news network.”
According to the 2002 Reuters article, “recognizing that sometimes the pen is mightier than the sword, the CIA has a colorful history of planting false information in media outlets overseas, with results ranging from irritating the Soviet Union to paving the way for a coup in Latin America.”
Being part of the agenda-setting elite itself Reuters, of course, prefers to present the scandal as an exclusive “overseas” practice, focusing mainly on subversive disinformation-spreading operations aimed against former Soviet Union. It magnanimously ignores CIA tentacles swarming throughout US universities and American news agencies, including Associated Press, responsible for the bulk of (dis)information regularly carried in each and every American and other English-language media outlets (professor De Braeckeleer touches upon those connections in the linked article).
Reuters piece also fails to mention the series of color-coded revolutions, aimed at mass-scale regime changes in Eastern Europe during the 1990s, but it is certainly no secret that every single coup toppling the regimes in that part of the world, from the Polish “Velvet Revolution” to October 2000 “Otpor” (Resistance) farce in Serbia, and “Orange Revolution” in Ukraine a bit later, were CIA-orchestrated and run operations.
A number of independent researchers have also established CIA’s direct involvement in spreading carefully crafted disinformation through the largest American news network, CNN, especially during the 1999 NATO bombardment of Serbia. But, thanks to paralyzing self-censorship, compliance and servitude that holds all of Western MSM in a deadly grip, every similar discovery is destined to be drowned in silence as soon as it surfaces.
Administrator SlimVirgin, a Cover for a Team of Agents Editing Wikipedia Articles
Narrowing his examination of Wikipedia “neutrality”, professor Braeckeleer found that the person editing an unbelievably large chunk of Wiki entries under the name SlimVirgin is the key mutilator of the facts he was tracking down. Her real name is Linda Mack, “rumored to reside in Alberta, Canada, under the name of Sarah McEwan.”
Wikipedia-Watch.org went further in unmasking the real person or, rather, a group of people hiding under the SlimVirgin screen name.
“[SlimVirgin] is known as an administrator with inhuman capacity for work. Over the past year, she edited nearly 35,000 articles (about 100 every day, without holidays and weekends). The same SlimVirgin also holds a record of continuous editorial work lasting 26 hours, with the longest break in editing not exceeding 40 minutes. These statistics from Wikipedia's editing records suggests either a supernatural ability, or more likely that SlimVirgin is a convenient smoke screen for an entire team of specialists editing Wikipedia articles on behalf of intelligence services.”
Wiki Founder: “Don’t Cite Us!”
And, while the official mainstream media is still filled with praises for the highly dubious Wikiality, independent sources have confirmed Wikipedia is neither “open”, nor “egalitarian”, and certainly not “free”. Unless one thinks CIA and MI5 are veritable fountains of unvarnished, solid-as-gold truths, generously shared with the rest of world for no other purpose but to inform, educate and enlighten the slumbering masses.
Before deciding to rely on Wikipedia as a source of information for serious research on any political subject and most other issues (except for, say, tapeworms and sessile leaves), one would be well advised to heed the warning of founder Jimmy Wales, who personally instructed users not to cite Wikipedia as a source.
For much more information on the Wikipedia fraud, visit BannedInTheUSA.net and, especially, John Borland’s article on Wired.com See Who's Editing Wikipedia - Diebold, the CIA, a Campaign, explaining how searcheable database created by a computation and neural-systems graduate student traces millions of Wikipedia entries and edits to corporate sources and CIA.

I am glad that you brought this to our attention. I have not forgotten about that big dispute on GoV that involved, among other things, citing Wikipedia to back up anti-Serb propaganda. My old laptop died and I will get back to it when the replacement arrives next week.
Coincidentally, I blogged about Wikipedia spin just before the hardware crash.

Thanks for your good wishes.
Wow. I not only read your article, but I also followed up on many of your links, then followed up on the links in those articles, and so on and so forth. What has been seen, cannot be unseen...
I am absolutely beside myself with disgust. I feel as though I need to wash the inside of my head to clean it somehow.
And no, it is not because übersleaze Wikipedia spinster "SlimVirgin" is no more a virgin than 1389 is the Caliph! Though it bothers me that she arrogates to herself a word that belongs more properly to the Theotokos.
After putting everything together from all of these many articles, and connecting the dots, I am confronted with a portrait of the most contemptible sort of tyrant - the type who plays upon the misguided sympathies of others and who has spent a lifetime using her own weakness as a weapon.
The evidence shows a manipulator, a deceiver, a drama queen, a selfish narcissistic crybaby from a privileged background, who, among many other misdeeds, either has been committing Wikipedia fraud on a prodigious scale and over a long period of time, or has been fronting for an entire team of fraudsters engaged in that activity.
Wikipedia fraud is not a trivial matter. It deceives the citizenry and misleads the body politic to make unwise decisions based on invalid information.
I roundly condemn Wikipedia's self-righteous pretense of enforcing a "neutral point of view." When I write or blog, I make my best effort to gather and publish the whole truth and nothing but. There is no neutral ground between right and wrong, between good and evil, between truth and error. There is no room to dilute the truth by presenting falsehood alongside it, in an effort to appear "fair and balanced." The devil has too many spokesmen already, and too many spokeswomen too!
Several men whom "SlimVirgin" has deceived still maintain some degree of sympathy for her, but being female I can see her for exactly what she is. Evil is always a result of weakness, not of strength, and evil deserves no sympathy. I contend that even those with mental illnesses bear some degree of moral responsibility to do whatever they can to seek treatment, to gain self-control, and to refrain from harming themselves or others.
It appears that "SlimVirgin" has played a key role in putting an innocent person in prison for thirty years, and causing sanctions to be applied erroneously. If that is not evil, what is?
I grew tired, years ago, of having to remind supposedly "peace-loving" people that sanctions are indeed an act of war, almost never effective in achieving the stated purpose, but always a source of hardship and death to innocent parties.
And at the same time, thanks to "SlimVirgin" and those making use of her, the real perpetrators get a pass.
I followed the Lockerbie news like everyone else, back in the day. I thought something was fishy at the time but I couldn't get to any of the details to be sure, and now, years later, this finally comes to light. We were lied to. Lies are the fuel and the lubricant that keep the machinery of evil in motion. Lies make me angry, and they should make all of us angry.
Thank you again for posting this.

Wonderful post, 1389, thank you for taking time, I really appreciate it and I'm sure other readers will too!
Your distinction - discernment! - between "neutrality" and plain old truth is the very key to the immense fraud Wikipedia would represent even without multiple other grievous abuses.
Yes, it is a very serious issue, especially when one thinks how many school essays, articles, college and university students have used Wikipedia as their primary source of information, believing they are reliable and "neutral" enough to confidently cite. But the main Jesuit idea - get them while they're young to shape their minds your way - has been deeply implanted in all totalitarian systems long time ago. The only difference is that here they have an illusion of freedom through, seemingly, numerous choices, even though one and the same Master is behind most of them.
I think that the blasphemous choice of name is purposeful, just like the most infamous Public Whore No.1 has been using the Latin version to soil and deface everything and insult Christians to the core. Echelons of evil can often be recognized that way long before there is anything more solid to go by - their hatred for Christ and Christians comes first and everything else is merely a consequence.

Hello,
I have discovered your blog by accident today and I have been reading articles in it for the past two hours. Please accept all my best wishes from France, hoping that 2008 will see the stop of the Kosovo "independence" project. You should know and it will confort you to know that many many French people remain your strongest friends in your struggle for survival despite the betrayal of our nations towards your country in 1999.
What if, in a near future, the city of Marseille became in majority muslim due to the waves of migrants and the fact their demography is faster than ours? What if, after this, the people there requested "independence" from France? Should Paris be bombed by the US or EU because we would refuse their "independence"? This is what is happening to Kosovo with the help of people who have an agenda I am scared to guess.
Serbian friends, hold on. You are not alone.
With regards,

Thank you, dear Olivier! Honest, intelligent, goodhearted and well-meaning people everywhere are brothers.
France and Serbia were friends and allies during both world wars and before; Serbs have always admired great French leader De Gaulle and considered France one of few very special, exceptional friends. By God's will, that friendship between our nations, sealed in blood of both Serbian and French soldiers and heroes, will triumph once again.

Here's an old article I happened to find - about Wikipedia, Srebrenica, and Serb-bashing.
No doubt, anyone who has the time to research it could do an entire series of articles just on anti-Serb spin jobs in Wikipedia!

Wiki's subjectivity can be seen in its segments on Roy Gutman and some other issues. In the mentioned Gutman example, there is an unquestioned lauding of his work, with no second guessing whatsoever. In comparison, some other Wiki entries are overly subjective in a most misrepresentative manner. I am reluctant to post them because they are IMO somewhat deceitful and a slur on the given individuals and organizations.
I know someone who writes entries for Wiki. According to him, it is a free market in the sense that anyone can register and write/edit on a topic. His attitude is to get involved if you do not like the current status quo. Such a mind-set plays down several factors:
- What if one is burdened with time?
- The target being smeared might not want to further advertise the situation.
- The target getting smeared might not be so good at mud slinging under the guise of scholarship, while being in the right.
- There could be a troll patrol of several individuals targetting one entity.
- How about the length of time from when the misrepresentations were posted to when the target of the smear finds out? At issue, is playing catch up.
Wiki is supposedly clamping down on the hucksters.
As is, I am careful when using Wiki. On some topics, it can be useful. The realtively safe subjects are typically the non-political to less political ones, involving pure facts over opinions based on facts.
