I agree. I've long thought that we are in an existential conflict with Islam. Not just Europe, but the whole world is in conflict with Islam. It's Islam that wanted it this way, not us. Just look around the world: everywhere - absolutely everywhere - where there are large numbers of muslims alongside non-muslims there is conflict. The only common factor to all these conflicts is Islam.

It's like if I get in my car every morning and it will not start for me, but everyone else who tries can easily get it started. So lots of different people can start it, and only I can't. What is the common factor for the times it wont start? That's right - me. So it's my fault it wont start. If nobody else could start it either, then it would be the car.

The common factor in all these conflicts is Islam. Hindus and Christians get along. Hindus and muslims - conflict. Buddhists and atheists get along. Atheists and muslims - conflict. All the rest of us can get along with each other anywhere in the world. Put Islam into the situation - conflict. Always Islam.

We are in an existential struggle.

SirHM, I agree with your points, but I think the key problem is the centuries-old habit of certain power centers to use Muslims as a battering ram against the perceived enemy of the day, in order to spread their own dominance. There are numerous example in history, both far and near, of how this was done, in the Middle East, with Ottomans, Talibans (Zbignew Bzezinski openly admits Bin Laden and Talibans were used by CIA and US State Dept. to fight against Russians in Afghanistan), even in Bosnian civil war (Clinton approved and helped Iranian and other mujdahedins infiltrate Bosnia in the midst of a war, to fight against the Serbs).

That the Muslims are such fanatical idiots to enjoy being plunged into innumerable wars since the 8th century is a separate issue, but until we can break this hideous habit of Western warmongers in power to keep treating the jihadists as their own rabid Pit Bulls they love to throw at others' necks, we will keep losing. For me, the main issue is not who's hanging off the leash, but who holds it.

Praise to Mlada Bosna! Personally I say hit up the U.S, British, German and French embassies in that order. Let them know the Orthodox will not bend over and take! Yes, you make a good point there. Much depends though on what exactly is hanging on the end of the leash. That in itself can be a problem if it's a bloodthirsty Rottweiler with a mind of its own.

Here in the UK many of us believe our politicians and others of their kind think they are using Islam against us, the British people, for their own purposes. But those politicians don't realise that when they've allowed Islam to get strong enough here, Islam will turn on them too because Islam is playing its own deadly game.

We ordinary people will again have to fight to pull our leaders out of trouble there was no need to get into in the first place. It's like 1938 all over again.

Svetlana and Sir Henry, you both make excellant points. The beast at the end of the leash is a "tool" with a mind of its own. And very important to recognize the "tool" is being used by our very own politicians against us the citizens for their own perceived gain. No better example than the two-faced bastards G W Bush and/or John McCain. They're all in bed together with the Clintons riding their apocalyptic beast which they believe will enable them to enslave the entire world. Yep...they believe they are the "rightful rulers of the world"...really cool. And when the "beast" senses it no longer needs them, they will be devoured like the fools they are. They must be destroyed before they destroy us.

Folks must awaken and realize that both the leash holder and the beast are deadly threats to all peace loving citizens and we must mobilize to deal with both in a very decisive manner.
