Serbia Has Risen!

Kosovo Serb places proper state flag at the Jarinje administrative crossing between Kosovo Province and central Serbia
Albanian Separatists and UNMIK Pressure Serbs to Leave Kosovo Province
Serbian National Council of Kosovo and Metohija (SNV) warned on Tuesday about the increasing pressure of Albanian separatists on Serbs, urged UNMIK and KFOR to protect the Serb and other non-Albanian population, and called on the authorities in Belgrade to undertake at once the measures that were required for the protection of the sovereignty and integrity on the whole of its territory.
The anonymous bomb hoax in the Miladin Mitric (Serbian) primary school in the village of Laplje Selo, the beating up of a Serb woman in the village of Livoc near Gnjilane, as well as the pressure of the ethnic Albanian institutions that border crossings be placed at the administrative line are aimed at destabilizing the Serb community and forcing the Serbs to leave their homes, which will cause a destabilization of the region as a whole, the SNV assessed in a statement.

Wasn't meant to be: Jarinje "border" checkpoint was destroyed by local Serbs
Serbs Demolish Illegal Border Checkpoints and "Customs Offices"
The problem arose when former Albanian terrorist KLA members, transformed into a "Kosovo Police Service" by the magic of NATO's will, along with UNMIK police, contrary to the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 that is still in force, attempted to install border crossings and customs offices on a non-existent, illegal "border" between Kosovo and Metohija province and Serbia proper.
Kosovo Serbs responded to this attempt at forcefully carving up Serbia by setting on fire the check point at Serbia's administrative crossing with its southern Kosovo province in the village of Jarinje, near Raska, as well as several vehicles of the UNMIK police and the Albanian KPS. The second check point installed in Brnjak, close to Zubin Potok, has been blown up, KiM Radio has reported, adding that there were no casualties.
The incident in Jarinje occurred about 11.30 am CET on Tuesday, February 19, when local Serbs from municipalities in the northern part of the province demolished and set on fire all the objects at the administrative crossing in northern Kosovo.
The premises of the UNMIK customs office, the Kosovo Police Service and the Kasa Banka bank, as well as a dozen vehicles of the KPS and UNMIK police were burnt to ashes.
The officers of these organizations were not the target of the demonstrators, and many UNMIK police members were evacuated into Serbia proper by the Serbian police.
Following the morning incident at Jarinje check point, Kfor and UNMIK police decided to try again, and blocked on Tuesday all accesses to Leposavic. According to Tanjug, French Kfor troops did not allow anyone in or out of Leposavic, and Kfor used bulldozers to pile up soil on the road.
Serbs who set fire to the checkpoint at Jarinje used a bulldozer to overcome another Kfor's obstacle. Kfor troops stepped aside, so that there was no clash. According to the reports Leposavic is currently overflown by international forces' helicopters, and some ten armored vehicles have been positioned in the direction of Kfor base Notting Hill.
President of the Zubin Potok municipality, Slavisa Ristic, told RTS that Serbs from the village reacted when they heard that the administrative crossing with Serbia proper was blocked by the Albanian customs officials, which instigated the revolt.

Another newly installed "customs office" in Brnjak was blown up by Kosovo Serbs
“We cannot allow imposition of the institutions of the non-existing state, and to have them force us to pay the tolls to some 'independent Kosovo'. That is unacceptable,” he said.
Ristic explained that the demonstrators did not clash with the KFOR, though they destroyed the freshly installed check points.
“KFOR has the right to be here in accordance with the Resolution 1244 and we have nothing against KFOR. But if there are further attempts to impose some institutions of the fake state, the residents will most certainly react again,” Ristic said.
He appealed to UNMIK and KFOR to protect Kosovo Serbs from the Pristina Albanian pressures and attacks, and to preserve the peace in Kosovo and Metohija province.
Massive Student Protests Throughout Serbia

Students and youth join the Kosovo Serbs' protests throughout central Serbia: Belgrade students with banners reading "Kosovo-Metohija is the World" and "It Will Remain Ours", Feb. 18, 2008
At the same time, the protests throughout Serbia continued without a pause. Thousands of students demonstrated in Belgrade against the unilateral declaration of Kosovo province's independence on Monday.
Dean of the Belgrade University, Branko Kovacevic, has joined them in a march through Belgrade's main streets, to the St. Sava church.
Kovacevic thanked students who in large numbers expressed dissatisfaction because of the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo and Metohija and pointed out that Serbia will fight with all means to return that part of territory.
On the plateau outside the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Kovacevic told students that the measure of unilateral declaration of independence had done great injustice to Serbia, which is a sovereign and internationally recognized state.
Pointing out that the act represented a world precedent, he recalled the protests organized by students in 1936 against fascism in Europe, and in 1968 out of dissatisfaction with social and economic life, as well as in the 1990s against a policy that they thought would bring no good to Serbia.
"You are here again, to stand up against injustice done to a sovereign country. You have the full right to be here," Dean of University of Belgrade told the students, adding that "at this moment the most important thing is to help the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija to stay and live there."
“Fighting for Freedom of Our Country and People — the Purpose of Our Lives Since Sunday”
Rivers of young men and women from universities and high schools throughout Serbia who have poured into the streets wised to show their support for Kosovo Serb students and youth who have also been protesting in Kosovo province during the past two days.

Massive student protests sweeping Serbia: "Since Sunday we are living for the realization of the most valuable of all dreams - the fight for the freedom of our country and our people"
The participants of a rally said they would continue the fight for the freedom of their country and people: "Since Sunday we are living for the realization of the most valuable of all dreams - the fight for the freedom of our country and our people!"
"We pledge that we will never abandon our brothers in Kosovo and Metohija," the students and citizens said. The rally was organized by the Active Center to show disagreement with the policy of the big powers towards Serbia.
Representatives of the Active Center undescored that Serbia would never recognize the independence of Kosovo and Metohija, because "we can exist only together with that Serb province."
Serbia's youth carried huge banners in front of the protest reading "Kosovo-Metohija is the World" and "It Will Remain Ours". They chanted "Serbia has risen" and sang Serbian national anthem God of Justice.
Kosovo Serbs Unanimously Reject Albanian Separatists' Illegal Declaration
Kosovo Serbs also held protest rallies on Monday and Tuesday.
Serbs who gathered in front of the Gracanica Monastery on Monday in protest against the declaration of independence of Kosovo adopted by the Kosovo provisional institutions, were addressed by Kosovo-Metohija Bishop (Bishop of Raska and Prizren) Artemije. He told the protesters that they should gather around the Church at this decisive time, stressing that if Serbs themselves do not leave Kosovo and Metohija no unilateral acts on independence may take it away from them and called on the Serbs to remain in Kosovo.
Serbian parliament member from Kosovo and Metohija Zvonimir Stevic said at the protest rally that the state has to help Serbs in the province, pointing out that the Sunday visit by ministers is not the only one and that such visits will continue.
Pristina municipality Coordinator Slavisa Nikolic called Serbs and other non-Albanians to leave all Kosovo institutions immediately and thus "refuse to give legitimacy to the sham creation declared in Pristina on Sunday."
In Ranilug, near Kosovska Kamenica, Serbs also raised their voices against injustice and pledged never to recognize the independent state of Kosovo or its institutions.

Gracanica protest
At a protest rally in Strpce on Monday, several thousands of Serbs rejected the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo and Metohija and announced that they will not cooperate with the European Union mission, which is due to arrive in the province.
Member of the Serbian parliament Zvonko Mihajlovic said that the Sunday act by the provisional Kosovo parliament encouraged by the United States and some EU member states is illegitimate and described it as an attempt to seize a part of Serbia's territory by force.
"Kosovo will always be part of the constitutional system of the Republic of Serbia. This sham formation will never become member of any world organization, which is why it is condemned to fail," said Mihajlovic.
Protest participants, including youth representatives, expressed their opposition to the EU mission's arrival in Kosovo and Metohija, and underscored that the Serbian people will not cooperate with the mission.
Serbs who protested on Monday on Sumadija Square, in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica sent a message that they do not recognize the creation of a new quasi-Albanian state in the territory of Serbia. By the symbolic raising of the hands, Kosovska Mitrovica Serbs unanimously rejected the unilateral declaration of independence by the Albanian separatists.

Kosovska Mitrovica protest
The gathered Serbs carried numerous Serbian flags and banners in Serbian and English languages that read: "Kosovo not for sale", "No giving up of Kosovo", "Independent Kosovo - continued bombing of Serbia"...
The protest started by the singing of national anthem God of Justice, and ended by a march up to the bridge on Ibar river, which divides Kosovska Mitrovica into the northern Serbian and southern Albanian part of town.
This protest was also peaceful, and there were no international policemen present.
Kosovo Gorani: Only the State of Serbia Exists for Us
Civic Initiative of Goranies, Slavic Muslims in Kosovo province who, alongside Serbs and other non-Albanian minorities, have also been exposed to the merciless persecution and ethnic cleansing by the Albanian terrorists and separatists, called on Monday on Goranies not to leave Gora and Kosovo-Metohija province and never to recognize the self-proclaimed unilateral independence of Serbian Kosovo.
"This is the most difficult moment in the history of Goranies, we have to show wisdom and strength now, resist provocations and not leave our centennial homes," the statement said.
From the Civic Initiative it is said that for Goranies only the state of Serbia exists and its constitutional and legal order, and it demanded from the Serbian government not to ignore Goranies in their statements and activities with respect to Kosovo and Metohija province.
Comments
I think the only realistic end game is for Serbs in Kosovo and Metoija to lay low, let the KFOR forces leave, and then invite Serbia to retake the province with Russian backing.
It's one think if you're Saddam Hussein doing this to Kuwait in 1990. That was a failure and there was still some consensus at that time that (a) internal affairs are internal affairs and (b) borders shouldn't be changed by force. There is no consensus on anything anymore, and the West has shown its commitment to "law of the stronger" in this and other areas. So let it be. If Russia is in Serbia's corner--and they are itching to flex their muscle--then this is the only solution.
It must happen fast, at the same time it is not wise to happen with NATO troops there. In the meantime, Serbs must stay where they are and not participate in their own ethnic cleansing by leaving. If anything, Serbs should infiltrate Kosovo and move in, en masse, Mexican-style as "illegal immigrants" to their own country. Now that will be a *reconquista* I can support wholeheartedly.
I am a Catholic American with no ties by heritage to the Balkans, but the Serbian people are in my prayers. Many of my friends and colleagues stand with you as well. Don't think we all hate you or are unaware of the issues. Many of us see things clearly.

Svetlana, did you read. According to some news reports a convoy of 1,000 Serbs entered Kosovo. Some seem to suspect that they are members of Serbian Ministry of Interior.
The guardian reported it: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/feb/20/kosovo.serbia?gusrc=rss&feed=networkfront

Dear Svetlana
This quote from above demonstrates my concern completely
Albanian Separatists and UNMIK Pressure Serbs to Leave Kosovo Province
Serbian National Council of Kosovo and Metohija (SNV) warned on Tuesday about the increasing pressure of Albanian separatists on Serbs, urged UNMIK and KFOR to protect the Serb and other non-Albanian population, and called on the authorities in Belgrade to undertake at once the measures that were required for the protection of the sovereignty and integrity on the whole of its territory.
This is why I suggested a mass march into Kosovo. I know that demonstrating in Belgrade is under way - but other than relieving feelings it won't get Serbs very far.
Another poster has said about slipping people into Kosovo - you have to - using the military term - 'put boots on the ground'.
Serbs need to get over the border and reinforce in Kosovo proper and soon.
Is there no one in authority that will lead a 'citizens militia'.
It would be quite useful if you could let us have some e mail addresses for your bishops, politicians, civic leaders etc - particularly Mr Nikolic and your PM. Maybe a Kosovo serb to send encouragement. Anyone that you think might be influenced by messages. If we each forwarded the e mail addresses on to as many others as possible - we could perhaps help a little.
I have little or no confidence whatsoever in Tadic or your PM. It is starting to look like Kosovo is bought and sold. I hope I am wrong - but the above quote does not bode well.

A dark day for Europe! For many years, Milosevic was the "excuse" for the West. Eight years later, his "Europe oriented" succesors didn't have much luck either...
Serbia has to take a difficult choice. To fight for its rights or to give them up. It's up to you, to depend on your own people, your own power, your own history. Both choices are difficult, anyway...
You are not alone, but it's only you in the front. We can only think every day of your example and support you in every possible way.
This time, our european and american "friends" have gone too far!
Love from Athens, to our Serbian brothers

Greeks display a banner ''Kosovo is Serbia'' during a Champions League round of 16 soccer match between Olympiakos and Chelsea at the Karaiskakis Stadium in the port of Piraeus, near Athens.
Looks like the Greeks are beginning their protests. I recall back in 1999 the Greeks would stop military convoys heading to Kosovo by rail, throw tomatoes at NATO convoys and even turn road signs the wrong way and actually got NATO convoys stuck as they went the wrong way.

Thank you dear Christos - Greeks always stand up for the truth and are the most wonderful friends (see what a lovely banner they have displayed at the soccer match between Olympiakos and Chelsea :-)), Roach and Aleksandr! Following the link you kindly sent, Aleksandr, I read how moved the Serbs were to have Russian choir sing and pray with them and I know the feeling fully well: when one is blessed to have Russians chant in the church, it is truly like angels have been sent down to comfort you! When ROCOR Fathers sang in our Holy Liturgy, most of us kept streaming tears throughout - it is incredible feeling of joy and love and gratitude one can never forget.
SrbinIzArgentine and Elizabeth - there are indeed rumors that Serbian special forces have infiltrated Kosovo and Metohija province, but I prefer not to discuss that issue at all, although I understand how much the Western MSM would love to blabber about such things incessantly. First of all, it is unconfirmed and, second, even if it is true, I don't think it is the kind of thing that should be aired and advertised.
Let's try to calm down, see how things develop and let's keep certain bits and pieces of information under wraps. Remember: Loose lips sink ships. Serbia is in the war, let us be good soldiers and behave.
Also, dear Elizabeth, know that everything that can be done will be done by the Serbs now. Do not worry, there are few very good men involved in every aspect of the problem and it will be solved, but not as fast as we would want everything to happen. Serbs have centuries of experience in a very specific kind of war and, I know it may sound like bragging, but the truth is that on their own land they simply can't be defeated militarily ever, by anyone. Serbs are famous for winning all the wars on the ground and losing each of them at the negotiating table, sometimes after the fact - we are the best soldiers and the worst politicians.
No emails, no names, no personal informations, no specifics will follow. I hope you understand.

With all due respect, I believe Roach (first message) misunderstands Western actions in Kosovo.
It was the US with their EU allies which fabricated stories about the suffering of Albanians in Kosovo prior to their aggression.
These same countries spent billions of dollars on their 78-day bombing attack on Serbia in 1999. Following a ceasefire agreement, it was these same countries which marched into Kosovo and oversaw the mass ethnic cleansing of non-Albanians (mostly Serbs).
Since 1999 these same countries have maintained a massive military presence in Kosovo and govern the province.
These same countries wrote the Ahtisaari Plan for Kosovo’s “supervised independence” and are now busy implementing that plan.
This whole process has cost billions of Euros and yet most Kosovo Albanians live in abject poverty; their standard of living has fallen dramatically since they split with Serbia.
The US/EU plan for Kosovo has everything to do with their domination of that land and nothing to do with the wellbeing of Albanians.
In short, the US and EU have no plans to leave Kosovo. If Serbian troops march into Kosovo it will be to fight US and British occupiers and not Albanians.

From Portugal, I would like to express all my support for your fight for justice and to tell that you, dear Serbians, are not alone.
Even if the government ruling my nation decides to recognize this farse I would like you to know that we, the Portuguese People are, by what I've been reading, on your side in this hard times.
Kosovo is Serbia!

Michael, you may be right. I also know U.S. domestic climate is more and more opposed to foreign intervention and drawn out occupations. Of course, since operations in Kosovo have been relatively peaceful, no one has paid too much attention since '99. I bring this up to people and they're like "What's Kosovo?" It's sad. Widespread American ignorance and indifference to foreign policy is why the elites can do damn near anything that doesn't cost too many American lives.
I can't say I want to see war with Serbia and America, though. I was depressed and ashamed last time around. I should hope we can leave and allow Serbs to reassert their sovereignty over their land.
Posted by: Roach | February 20, 2008 06:08 AM
I am sure the Serbs have a military plan in place, especially to protect the few remaining Serbs there. I am just curious of what Russia is planning to do? Putin said he has a response already in place if the west backs independence. The question is when will this happen? Patience for now and the strike back will come swiftly and unexpectedly like when Russian troops seized control of the Pristina airport back in 1999 ahead of advancing NATO troops.

BELIORAOSRBIJA...The US and European nations could sure use a leader like "Black Jack" Pershing instead of these scum sucking nutballs that believe their fast track to power is riding the back of the jihadist beast into the new world order. Western "powers", especially the US urgently need a thorough housecleaning before they destroy more of the free world.

For those readers here who do not know of Gen Jack Black Pershing. he stopped muslims from attacking US troops in the phillipines in a very direct way.Insteadof kissing their asses, he took a more direct and simple approach.
A True story about General "Black Jack" Pershing.
Born September 13th, 1860 near Laclede, Mississippi
Died July 15th, 1948 in Washington, D.C.
1891 Professor of Military Science and Tactics University of Nebraska
1898 Serves in the Spanish-American War
1901 Awarded rank of Captain
1906 Promoted to rank of Brigadier General
1909 Military Governor of Moro Province, Philippines
1916 Made Major General
1919 Promoted to General of the Armies
1921 Appointed Chief of Staff
1924 Retires from active duty
Education: 4 Years-West Point
One important thing to remember is that Muslims detest pork because they believe pigs are filthy animals. Some of them simply refuse to eat it, while others won't even touch pigs at all, nor any of their by-products. To them, eating or touching a pig, its meat, its blood, etc., is to be instantly barred from paradise and doomed to hell.
Just before World War I, there were a number of terrorist attacks against the United States and it's interests by, you guessed it, Muslim extremists.
So General Pershing captured 50 of the terrorists and had them tied to posts execution style. He then had his men bring in two pigs and slaughter them in front of the, now horrified, terrorists.
The soldiers then soaked their bullets in pigs blood, and proceeded to execute 49 of the terrorists by firing squad.
The soldiers then dug a big hole, dumped in the terrorist's bodies and covered them in pig blood, entrails, etc.
They let the 50th man go. And for about the next 42 years, there was not a single attack by a muslim fanatic anywhere in the world.
God please show the enemies of srbija, the same mercy they have shown to srbija.

holy crap Serbia needs to do this with 50 UCK, and televise it so that the world can see. I think the albanians in Kosovo would me more than happy to leave. Y do great man either get killed or die. I think it's time for Serbia to kick out tadic and his american rats and bring in Nikolic, time to show american that their empire is about to bleed. Their money is worthless, they print it like news paper, the federal reserve is a private company and it can be found in the yellow pages.

BELIORAOSRBIJA and joesixpack31
Your story about Gen Jack Black Pershing is important.
When fighting Jihadists we need more than just bullets. Jihadists welcome death, so the fear of the bullet is not enough to stop their attacks.
This is the first I have heard about Gen Jack Black Pershing, but I have had similar thoughts about how to put fear into the hearts of Moslems.
I am probably now going to expose my own bloodthirsty nature, but I had though that after falling in battle Jihadists should be cut up and fed to pigs. This way the Jihadist would be absorbed by the pig and become one with it. The pig would then be slaughtered and buried.
I apologies for creating this horrible picture in your minds, but the idea is to create a punishment so horrendous to Moslems that they will abandon Jihad and join with non-Moslems to help us to build a happy a prosperous world.

As far as any contingency plan the army it would seem has some Specijalna Antiteroristicka Jedinica presence in Kosovo that has dug in in terms of communication and intel it is one of many contingency plans that any modern military would would have drawn up.Srbija knew this was coming and Beograd has people in Kosovo why not military.

Michael Thomas, your suggestion is not bloodthirsty at all but practical and realistic. We are dealing a demonic cult that spreads like a malignancy among those with psychotic imbalance and for whom there is no "downside" in dying unless they lose their eternal life with allah and their 72 virgins. Mass burials of jihadists in pig shit is the way to go...without a doubt. We're talking survival of the civilized world here. Consequently the voices of protest that will undoubtedly arise from polite society, from the "PC crowd, the "kinder/gentler" and multicultural crowd can be quickly dealt with by adding some of their more vocal members to the pigshit mass graves. Kind of give them a little taste of reality. The civilized world has really suffered their meddling for too long a time.
