Serbia Recalls Its Ambassadors from the Fascist States

Serbian government has been recalling all its ambassadors from the countries which have recognized the illegal, unilaterally declared independence of Pristina Albanian separatists.

The first country to recognize Albanian Muslims' unilateral declaration, quite fittingly, was Afghanistan, followed by the United States of America, Turkey, Albania, and then the modern-day fascistic dictatorships, Western European states such as Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Austria...

"We support the decision made by the people and we recognize Kosovo's independence," Hamid Karzai's Foreign Ministry spokesman said in Kabul.

Free World Still in Majority

The free world, representing the greatest majority of the international community, has refused to recognize the imposed dismemberment of the sovereign state of Serbia. For now, the states that have expressly said they will never recognize Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province as an independent state are Russia, China, India, New Zealand, Spain, Cyprus and Romania.

Today, Romania has announced closing down of its diplomatic office in Pristina, since Romania refuses to recognize the unilateral declaration of independence by Serbia's Province of Kosovo, Romanian President Traian Basescu has stated.

Basescu said that Romania will not interfere in the development of Kosovo's institutions and that the presence of Romania's gandarmerie in the province is covered by the UN resolution, Rompress reported.

Romania is engaged only in keeping public order, said Basescu.

Romania's Parliament late on Monday confirmed the government decision not to recognize independence of Kosovo and Metohija.

UN Security Council Session: Illegal Independence of Serbian Province Legalizes Ethnic Cleansing

At yesterday's emergency UN Security Council session, Serbian President Tadic requested the urgent annulling of the unilateral and illegal act of the secession of southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija.

"The independence of Kosovo is a legalisation of ethnic cleansing and all those who recognise Kosovo's independence will legalise an expulsion of 250,000 people," Tadic said, adding that all the Albanians that had lived in Kosovo in 1999 were still there, while more than 250,000 Serbs have since been driven from their homes and are unable to return.

"I therefore call upon the Secretary General to use legal measures and annul the decision the temporary institutions of Kosovo have reached without the participation of Serbs, without the approval of the Serb people," he added.

"The independence would reward those who have, at the start of the 21st century, created Serb ghettos in Europe, protected by barbed wire, surrounded by tanks and soldiers armed to their teeth. The reward is coming for those who took part in the segregation of Serbs and those who deny them the right of free movement, those who force them to live in darkness and constant fear for their lives," Tadić said.

He also warned that anyone who supported this outcome must be aware that the act legalizes the treat of violence as a means to create new states and fulfill political interest.

"If you allow for this illegal act to become the reality, you will show the world that right and justice need not be respected. You will show the world that this body of the world organization is, unfortunately, losing its authority," the president said.

Serbia's Interior Ministry Files Criminal Charges Against Thaci, Sejdiu and Krasniqi

Serbia's Ministry of the Interior (MUP) on Monday, February 18, filed criminal charges against three Albanian separatist leaders in the province of Kosovo and Metohija—Hashim Thaci, Fatmir Sejdiu and Jakup Krasniqi—who, on February 17 in Pristina organized the illegal and unlawful proclamation of the fake state on the territory of Republic of Serbia.

By doing so, the MUP statement said, they have committed a grave criminal act against Serbia's constitutional order and security, from the Article 321, paragraph 1 related to the criminal act of the Endangerment of Territorial Integrity from Article 307, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Law of Republic of Serbia.

Article 8 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia describes the country as unified and indivisible, with inviolable borders that can be changed only through procedures given in the constitution, the MUP explained.

Supreme Court: Unilateral Declaration of Independence by Pristina Separatists Illegal, Null and Void

On the same day, the Supreme Court of Serbia ruled Pristina separatists' unilateral declaration of independence null and void.

"The attempt at the unilateral declaration of the independence of Kosovo and Metohija is absolutely a null and void illegal act which grossly violates all rules of the international law," the judges said.

The Constitution regulates the position of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija as an integral part of Serbia whose territory is united and indivisible, the Supreme Court said in a statement.

The Supreme Court said that this illegal act is contrary to the UN Charter, the final Helsinki Act, the 1990 European Charter for a New Europe, the conclusions of the Badinter Commission and UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

The Supreme Court recalled that Serbia is a sovereign state, one of the founders of the United Nations which indirectly applies generally-accepted rules and norms of the international law and where confirmed international agreements are an integral part of the country's legal order.
