Serbia Signed Nothing

Tadic-Solana Pact to be Annulled by Serbia at the First Parliament Session
At the time the SAA [Stabilization and Association Agreement] was signed in Luxembourg, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said that Boris Tadic's signature on Solana's pact is obligatory for Tadic's own party alone and that the new Serbian government and the Parliament will annul today signed pact at its first session.
"Boris Tadic will not embarrass Serbia with his signature on Solana's pact, but only himself", Kostunica said.
Each of the three men, including Tadic, who took upon themselves to burden Serbian state with a commitment Parliament is certain to reject, belong to Boris Tadic's political party. Bozidar Djelic and Vuk Jeremic, assuming the roles of the vice premier and foreign minister, even though the government which appointed them no longer exists, accompanied their political party leader to Luxembourg in an effort to create an impression that the entire Serbian state is behind them.
Nothing could be further from the truth, being that the overwhelming majority of the Serbian Parliament MPs are expressly against signing of the pact with Javier Solana in present circumstances.
Premier Kostunica said that this signature is anti-constitutional and anti-state act, which means it is completely unlawful and illegitimate.
"We are informing NATO pact and all the EU member-states which have recognized the fake state of Kosovo that this illegal signature by Tadic cannot be interpreted as Serbia's signature on Kosovo independence," Kostunica told Tanjug.
"The new Serbian Government and the new Serbian Parliament will immediately annul Tadic's unlawful signature. We shall never allow anyone to sign the Kosovo independence in Serbia's name, and that is why today's signature by Tadic is absolutely worthless," Kostunica said.
Kosovo-Metohija Province Rallies Diverse Political Parties Together
In a later interview to Avala TV, Prime Minister Kostunica reiterated that the signed pact with the EU is obligatory only for the political parties which signed it, since it will not be ratified by the Serbian Parliament.

"This agreement is not in the function of preserving Serbia's territorial integrity and I am convinced that the Parliament majority will refuse to ratify it", said Kostunica, adding that today's signing of the SAA is a "one-time use" deal.
Asked whether this can be interpreted as an announcement of the post-electoral coalition of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and New Serbia (NS) with the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Kostunica said that more important than the partisanship is the prevailing orientation in Serbia where the differences between the political parties are being erased, and the issue of the territorial integrity is the key question over which the differences between the parties are erased.
"Regarding Kosovo and Metohija there was always a majority in the Serbian Parliament, and that is how it will be in future too," Kostunica said.
Solana's Pact—Destruction of Serbia Through Deception
He reminded that the SAA was signed, among others, with 18 EU member-states which have recognized the unilaterally declared independence by the Pristina separatists, and if they ratify the agreement, they will in this way also recognize Serbia without Kosovo-Metohija province.
It was Essential to Reject Signing of this Pact
Kostunica assessed that today's signing of the pact amounts to "destruction of Serbia through deception", because the moment certain EU states have recognized the independence of Kosovo-Metohija province, the article 135 of the SAA which was the only guarantee of Serbia's territorial integrity in that agreement, was violated.
"It was essential not to accept signing of the SAA without discussion with the EU officials. This ought to have been a minimum. Up until now, Serbia was negotiating numerous details with the EU, some of which seem rather insignificant. So, the minutiae was important, but when it comes to a major issue, we haven't spent a single day or one hour to determine what is Serbia to EU", Kostunica said.
He said that Serbia cannot wait to resolve this issue in the final stages of joining the organization, but has to insist for it to be resolved right away.
Kostunica stressed that he is not against the idea of the European Union, but he can't overlook the fact that that organization, when it comes to the way it relates to Serbia and its Kosovo-Metohija province, has been removed from itself and from the principles upon which it was established.
Regarding the upcoming elections in Serbia and the possible post-electoral coalitions, Kostunica said that today's signing of the SAA has further "deepened the differences" between his coalition [DSS-NS] and the one formed around the motto "For the European Serbia" [Tadic's DS, Canak's LSV and Dinkic's G17].
DSS-NS coalition can collaborate only with the parties which share its programme orientation, said the premier.

I think that the name "Judas" was used re Tadic signing the SAA, and it suits him well.

In a funny sort of way this is an interesting development.
The Serbian people can see exactly where they stand.
There can be no ignorance and cries of 'we didn't know before we voted'.
This is a clear case of black and white.
Support Tadic and his minions at the forthcoming elections you betray your own country and every Kosovan Serb. There can be no misunderstanding or ambiguity. The writing is the signature on this treasonous agreement written in Serbian blood. The issues are clearly on the line.
Like every other non-Serb who appreciates and follows this first class blog I am holding my breath and waiting for your election hoping, really really!! hoping, that the Serbian people will reject the EU path for the good of their country and fellow citizens.
Please support the Radical party if you love Serbia.

Supporting the SRS is the only hope to change things and finally make them normal again for the Serbs, after almost 18 years. Hopefully for the Serbs as a whole: especially in Kosovo and Metohija (the army's return, by force, may be the only solution) and in Rep. Srpska (independence).

If these 3 men Tadic, Djelic and Jeremic do not have the legal authority to sign this agreement, they have got to be among the most brazen, impudent and arrogant statesman (if you can call them that) in the world. They should be put on trial for treason and upon conviction be given a lengthy prison term.
If any Serbs in Serbia, including Kosovo, die as a result of this signing, the prison terms should be replaced with the death penalty.

Why does Tadic have such a big nose? I mean...look at it...it's gigantic.

Tadic's nose is so big because he is a wooden boy named PINNOCHIO!!

It's hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel I became more discouraged than every with the Serbia and the Kosovo situation when I saw, not only Tadic's signing, but the following celebrations in some of the streets of Serbia. Have so many of our people become so naive that they cannot see what the EU and the West mean to them? Can we not just hear of a Pro-Serbia candidate instead of pro-west, pro-EU, etc??? Serbia is divided to the point that there may nothing be left of it eventually. The one issue that should have united everyone, and I thought it was initially, is now being forgotten by all those who support Tadic, Canak, G17, and the liberals. They have lost all pride in Serbian patriotism because they want to seem enlightened as their western "colleagues." This word "colleague" is nothing more than a new version of the Serbian word "drug." In Tito's Yugoslavia, true Serbians had to struggle against the false ideal of "bratsvo jedinstvo" and today we have the false ideals of "international communities," "western colleagues," and a "European home." Sadly, Serbia has brought much of this on itself. They didn't see through the lies initially (and I'm speaking directly about V. Kostunica shortly after 2000), and now there are few options left. One thing is for sure: Tadic and his political supporters need to be removed from office and tried for treason.

Gde je Dragutin Dimitrijevic (Apis)kad ga Srbija treba?

Goran
I just cannot understand the pro EUSSR sentiment in Serbia.
They will flood your country with islamic immigrants and privatise for capitalist greed every sellable item the Serb state possesses.
But worse the EUSSR is going to collapse with the increasing certainty of revolution, bloodshed and a Eurabia. In England a certain politician who is now being seen as a prophet, spoke of 'rivers of blood' although they were not his actual words.
Europe is coming to an end in a way you former Yugoslavs will know about. WE are under going a mass invasion similar to the 'invasion' of Kosovo. We are being assimulated by an islamic 'borg'.
Russia is the coming superpower. They have oil, minerals, endless lands, they have not allowed the islamification of the main Russian state. Islam is under some control. In places like my country England, it is becoming the dominant religion and soon the dominant population.
Why do you want your women in veils?
You are so lucky as a people. You have a chance to see what the future of the EUSSR offers you. You can see that your own government will become increasingly marginalized as the EU is a dictatorship based in Brussels. You get to see the danger, corruption and disaster just waiting to happen.
Go with the vigorous, the new. Go with Russia and thank your lucky stars you can.

A truly open minded media advocacy doesn't prop the political likes of Greater Surbiton and the Srebrenica Genocide Blog without doing likewise with Gray Falcon and this blog.

Elizabeth:
My comment was poorly worded. Sorry for my haste. :(
I agree with you completely. Russia is the superpower that holds the key to Serbia's future. It is investing in an actual relationship with the Serbian people and not just the politicians. It is the motherland for us Orthodox. The entire DS and their followers in the Parliament need to be removed as soon as May 11th passes.

Finally, some have found that there is something fundamentally wrong in attempting to bribe other nations to some particular election result. Here in EUobserver.
Eurosceptics everywhere admire the Serbian defiance in the face of the Eurocrats. Please keep it up :)
