One step closer towards Serbia for Serbia

Pro-Serbian Block

It has been confirmed yesterday by Vice President of SRS Tomislav Nikolic and spokesman for DSS Andreja Mladenovic that the pro-Serbian block might be one step closer to forming the new Serbian government. Signing of “proposed agreement about the character and program goals of new national Government of Serbia" between SRS Nikolic and DSS Kostunica is the first good sign and hope for the better times for Serbia and Serbian people. In the next few days the new coalition between SRS, DSS-NS and SPS-PUPS-JS, should be officially announced.

DSS Vojislav Kostunica would keep the position of the Prime Minister, while the position of a Vice Premier would go to Ivica Dacic from SPS-PUPS-JS coalition. New President of Serbian Parliament, in this case, would be SRS Tomislav Nikolic. One of the most important appointments in Serbia, Mayor of Belgrade, would also go to Radicals and SRS Aleksandar Vucic.

Four Principles of New Coalition Government

"The four working principles of the coalition government have been agreed with Kostunica, and the same agreement will be offered to the Socialists", Nikolic said yesterday, without further explaining the stated principles, but stressing that cooperation with the EU will not be excluded, subject to amending the SAA with the sentence that Kosovo and Metohija province is an integral part of Serbia, as reported by Glas Javnosti.

He added that today's meeting in the Government building between SRS, DSS and SPS would confirm the acceptability of the four principals by the Socialist Party, too. "If they are acceptable, we will have SRS-DSS-SPS Government, and if not, Radicals will be in opposition. The new Government would be formed by those that have 126 MPs in the Parliament and Radicals with Kostunica's DSS and Socialists can achieve this, or the Socialist Party of Serbia will form a coalition with those who have destroyed their party", Nikolic said, adding that the four principles should be acceptable to the Socialists, since "those same principles also represented the core of their elections campaign". This same agreement, he stressed, would be reflected on the coalition in the town of Belgrade and in all the other local parliaments in Serbia.

The Most Wanted

Coalition formed around Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS-PUPS-JS) appears to be the key ingredient for either side, Radicals or (Tadic's) DS, to be able to form the new Government. Even though Tadic and others from DS, and alike, continue to repeat their mantra "we will form the new government" many times during the day, throughout Serbian media, it is not more than a strong sedative which may give them temporary relief and calm their nerves before facing the reality. It would be a true miracle, in political sense, if Socialists agree to join their ugly and poisonous nest of vipers.

The leader of the Socialists said that the platform of SPS-PUPS-JS coalition has to incorporate the principles of social justice, in addition to all the others state and national political principles. "Tomorrow we shall reveal certain elements of our politics regarding the pension law, labor, health care issues and education. This has to be, I believe, one of the most fundamental political principles of any future majority in the Parliament", Dacic stressed, as reported by Fokus.

Dacic said that the Socialists and Kostunica's DSS share similar positions about the state and national interests, adding that the distribution of the ministerial positions was not discussed. "Talks will continue. This is the first and main agreement concerning the common policies of the Government. After this, a decisive coalition agreement with clear deadlines for implementation of the above legislations should follow", Dacic said.

Good news and congratulations!
Lets keep our fingers crossed that someone does not throw a monkey wrench and mess it up at the last minute.

Considering the intentions the West has for Serbia we must be prepared for many more dirty tricks some of which will be surprisingly new. After coming that close to enslaving entire Serbia the invaders are not going to give up easy. We are in for some turbulent times and we must keep our spirits high and unwavering.

I beleive some dirty tricks could also be used in negotiations about who gets which post. Kostunica and Nikolic should not be too hard on SPS, because that could push them away to the yellow block.

Right now the SPS-DSS/NS-SRS coalition would be the least bad for Serbia, this is my belief.

Yes the yellow party isnt done grabbing their ankles yet, they want all of srbija to do the ankle grabbing dance just like them. Anyone who thinks I am too militant and nationalistic well you are right in a way, Think about it this way. Making friends and accepting gifts from someone who tried to kill you, and rape you is that right?. NO! well its the same thing with voting for Boris Tadic, EU membership, joining NATO, etc being more interested in going to a 50cent concert than protesting for your own culture heritage and rights in your OWN country, sram vas bilo!.
SRS will help srbija
Yellows will help themselves.
The curse of lazar will be upon those who have betrayed the heart of srbija.

After victory, what now for Tadic?
15.05.2008 / 00:00 CET
Confounding the expectations of observers in Serbia and abroad, the Democratic Party (DS) of President Boris Tadic snatched a major victory from its main rival, the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) – hitherto Serbia's single largest party – in the early parliamentary election held on 11 May.

What is going on? Did Srbian side win or did the quislings win? What is the latest news and why do pro-European rags keep pushing Tadicaj?
